Where are the moderators now??

why is this moral policing only for some while others continue abusing others posters with very fowl language, yet the moderators continue to do nothing? I never used any abusive language against anyone, yet I have been attacked on numerous occasions using very very fowl language.

Now as I see, I didn't really attack any poster. I was harsh on them on 1-2 occasions but never used abusive language. Yet these biased moderators are only policing a few.

You post articles about what can happen if severe arguments and attacks on a poster are there. Yet you do make biased decisions.

Where are you now?

Let me point to some things here.

1. So calling posters 'fanboys' is acceptable?

2. You calling moderators bias and yet claim to be neutral in constantly bashing the same players over and over?

3. Ganging up on fellow posters which you partake in?

You can always use the PM route to complain/ask for help.

First off, I am not biased.

I am not able to read every single post, but I do try.
If there is a post that requires our attention, report it and all the mods/admin get a pop up with a notification (similar to a private message)
The option to report posts is next to the quote & edit buttons.
Alternately all you have to do is pm myself or any of the mods/admin who are online.

A very good point, the trouble is some people can't brush off any criticism then they go whining to the mods like an annoying younger brother would. Forums are supposed to have debates and opinions, this is what a few posters and mods seem to forget when going berzerk and banning people. Complainers should simply block a users comments then they won't see it.

If you read the context of my comment the 'whinging and moaning' bit is of users reporting posts in the hope of that poster incurring a ban from the mods. From what i've seen, I don't believe Raiders has been trying to 'shut people up' by going to the moderators and having someone banned for having a difference in opinion. It's not all as black and white as you think it is.

JM, there have only been 2 posts in tennis reported, and that is within this week.

No one has been complaining to the mods or admin, this is an admin directive. We decide what is appropriate for the forum we set up and run, not the members.

Even if that is true, the mods have moved the goalposts regarding criticism and debating with others. Not saying I should be able to post anything I like, but the mods can overreact a lot.

By 'mods', are you referring to me? Because there isn't any mods in the tennis section.

I have explained on numerous occasions that debate is fine. It is the guff about the players, and attacking members just because they like a certain player that is stopping.

Show me where a poster has asked for another to be banned.

Raiders may not be everyone's cup of tea. Just because people do not share his/her views or yours or anyone else's for that matter doesn't 'moan' or 'complain' to moderators.

Well, had enough of this conversation. If you don't believe that sportslover, yummymummy among others have asked for posters to be exiled, then that's up to you.

It could be mass boredom! I am only an occasional visitor to the the tennis part of this site - but without hesitation I would nominate the thread of whether Nadal is the weakest of the 10+ slam winners as easily the most tedious thread I have come across on 606v2...

Anyway, back to the cricket pages....
