Can anyone tell me do replaced players get RWC medals in the event of reaching the final get medals,i.e.Carter,Slade,Muliana,Skrela etc.?

I always thought that you had to be in it(part of the 30 man squad) to get a RWC medal.

I thought that players that had been replaced because of injury, and was out the the squad, did not get one, other wise if the likes of Carter,Slade,Muliana,Skrela, if they became water boys and not play any part in the acutal game, then they would be entitled to a RWC Medal.
