V2 WCC Round 2 Group 4

The rules for round 2 are exactly the same as before, please vote for the wrestler you rate the highest and the top two will progress to the knockout stages. In round 2 Winning the group will see you face a runner up from another group so votes are even more important than ever.

I voted Bully Ray.

As Buh Buh Ray I thought he was a fat boring moron and hoped he would retire soon as Team 3D was well past its sell by date, but since going single Ray has seemed to up his effort, he has dropped a lot of weight and although his ring work still isnt world class (and at this stage of career never will be) he can more than hold his own in the squared circle. His Bully boy character is a good fit and his promo's are usually on the money, the one thing he as always had is the ability to work the mic. I have more time for Ray now than at any other point in his career so far.

As for the others Cena, love him or hate him the guy makes money and works hard, not my cup of tea but im not gonna hate on him, good luck to him I say, make your money while u can, none of us know whats round the next corner.

Young is a good wrestler and a good at comedy and usually makes me laugh in his segments, but he is never gonna be main event and to be honest I think he is being wasted by Tna at the mo

Crimson...Crimson...well he is still green. Dont get me wrong I like him and want him to go all the way to the top, cos if there is one thing Tna need to do more than anything else its to create new talent of its own, not Wwe rejects. His work in the ring is improving and his push is obviously based around Goldberg's but Bill Goldberg was a power move machine, Crimson is not at that level and im not sure he ever will be.

Crimson has said in interviews he is not trying to be Goldberg, if this is the case why is he always making those annoying gurning facial expressions just like Goldberg always did?

Considering the talent that was in yesterday's group, I am stumped what to pick for this one. In the end I voted for Bully Ray. I voted for Sheamus yesterday, but if Christian was in this group (or even Sting), they would walk it.

Suppose it is luck of the draw. I have a hunch who will win the whole thing, and I don't think who this person faces will make any difference.

I only watch WWE so Cena is the easy option for me today.

Cena by a country mile today.

Bully for me too, always been a huge fan of him, think he's one of the best mic workers in the business.

I think lex hit the nail on the head with regards to cena and bully ray, cena is a great worker and incredibly over he is debatably the biggest draw in the business at the present time and like lex said I'm not gonna hate on him, good luck to him! Bully is my pick on this round, his knowledge of the business is exceptional and he plays the heel role to perfection, also I'm a big fan of the bubba bomb especially when he hits it off the top rope. Crimson, I'm not to sure about tbh, tna seam to be big on him and are gonna push him to the hilt but I don't know if he has 'it' time will tell on him. And finally EY... A solid worker in the ring and can produce some really funny moments, a talented guy IMO.

I voted for Cena, as I did last round, because by my own criteria I kind of have to.

He has been in high profile feuds, had good (and 1 great) matches and has generally been at the top of his game. Stale or not!

Lex I think people can appreciate the attributes cena has and what he has achieved in a relatively short period of time however I would assume (maybe wrongly) that most of the posters on here are fans of the attitude era and cena is everything that the attitude era wasn't, he's portrayed as a super man and that just irritates the Internet fan.

I happen to quite like Cena. There are a hell of alot of worse wrestlers in the business. He's had a 5 star match with Punk, has had very good matches with Shawn Michaels and Triple H at Wrestlemania, i even found his match with Batista suprisingly entertaining. You cant give all the credit to the guy on the other side of the ring, it takes two to tango so to speak. For a guy with limited abilities Cena still comes out week after week and gives it 100%. He's passionate, he's a huge draw, and gets more heat than a top heel could ever dream of.

all of the above totally true, as I said Im not hating on Cena, he works hard and I dont mind him, wouldnt say im a fan, but I appreciate the effort he puts in.

The point I was trying to make was that as much as people moan about Cena and the superman stuff when it comes to a competition like this they will vote for him because he is a WWE product and thats what they are conditioned to do, back the WWE whatever crap they are putting out

Maybe not purely down to the conditioning Lex. Perhaps they only watch WWE. So that would make it the only choice they can knowledgably vote for.

I personally voted for EY. Think the guy has all the tools if only he was used properly.

Lex I voted Cena and I do knock him a lot but how I'm judging it is as follows

Feuds: With Punk, Miz, Truth and Rock he has been busy and they have been good
In Ring: He is improving but the less said the better
Mic skills: He has upped them as of late and has actually been believable and at times enjoyable
Drawing: He is the biggest name out there right now

I don't have to like the guy but you can't deny he is a big name kind of like Joey Barton, you can't stand the guy but you have to give him credit for being a good footballer.

On the basis that TNA is a waste of time I went for Cena

Cena has got mic skills, charisma, a huge merchandise. If only he was more experimental, then he would get more fans.

If he could execute his two very basic finishers he'd get bags more respect, this is a guy who put himself out for four months because he couldn't perform a hip toss

cena cant wrestle, and all though i titter at a couple of his jokes i dont find him that entertaining but i guess im not his target audience
