I was reading about england being rated one of the top 5 teams in the history of cricket and thought I would look at South Africa's test record over the last 5 years or so.

In the last 5 years South Africa have played 16 test series, have won 10, lost 1 and drawn 5. They played a total of 44 tests, winning 24, losing 11 and drawing 9. That is not a shabby record at all.

The win in Australia was a fine achievement but you haven't had great success against the best sides apart from that.

Stella, we played England in England and beat them there.

We played India three times and two of those were away.

I would think the big sides are India, Australia and England.

We won against two of them away.

England only beat Oz away?

I missed the England win.

England have also just hammered India.

I'm looking forward to next summer but am still annoyed that we will only play three tests.
