Credit where credit is due. The man is an absolute legend, often criticised but never fails to give 100%. At 38 he has become the first player ever to reach 100 HC appearances. Has two HC winners medals to boot.

Cant believe how fit he looks. He has been a credit to munster and ireland and despite all the criticism from some quarters has been one of our most important players for the last 10+ years..and a complete gentleman as well

Hayes work rate has always been immense. OK hes a rubbish scrummager but has there ever been a better lineout lifter? His defence at rucktime has always been superb. The guy is a legend, the ultimate team player.

He wasnt that rubbish a scrummager. Not great but look what Ireland and Munster have achieved with him locking down the scrum over the last decade
