Federer's Schedule 2012

He's released it, and it's a full schedule, so any retirement won't be until 2013 minimum.

Nothing very interesting except he's dropped Dubai, a staple of his for years now, in favour of Rotterdam in February. It comes earlier than Dubai, I think, but does anyone know why that might be? He's also put in London - so he reckons he'll be in the top 8 again.

Wow, the schedule is utter death next year with the Olympics now, starting with the clay season right to the end of USO, almost no respite....tough, tough year ahead...will anyone bother with Davis Cup on top? I mean where do QF matches fit in all that.....

Hopefully the tough schedule will allow Federer to profit from his rivals' fatigue a bit earlier than this year. Would be great if he could get a Wimbly, Olympics or US Open.

A wise man.....but I wonder why? He lives there a few months a year. I wonder whether it's a political decision.
