I not really keen on the way Roach and his gym conduct themselves. They seem to be more interested in building star power against fading stars. Thankfully now and again they get exposed. For example Lineres was built up a bit as the next best thing in his division. I must admit he is a very good fighter with great abilities but if you look at his record he has faced average fighters and fighters at the tail end of their career. De Marco recently exploited this fact in a fight Lineres looked to be winning, but De Marco is not a faded fighter he has fought some decent opponents like the late Valero.

Since Khan has been with Roach we have seen him face an over the hill Bararra, an injury prone slickster like Malignaggi, the under deserving Mcklosky and Judah who's best days were far behind him and was just looking for a pay day. Maidanna could not be avoided and Khan was lucky gto come through that fight with a win. Pacquaio is another story but still the same trend applies and he was also exposed against Marquez.

I know its part and parcel to build up careers like this but fighters like Martinez have established their records against very good opponents and it has not hurt them.

Who would you have preferred to see Khan fight at light welter?

Come of it. All this Khan bashing is silly. At LWW who else could Khan have faced? He wasn't lucky against Maidana. He got clocked early in the 10th. Held and recovered to take control towards the end of the round. Was Holmed lucky against Snipes, Shavers, Witherspoon, Bey and others who shook him up?

Was Hearns lucky against Kinchen? Boxers get hit. Its how they recover and come back that shows their mettle.

If and when he fights and beath Bid 'Ed, he would have cleaned out the division. Which other active boxer can claim to have cleaned out their division. Is it his fault that he was avoided by his obvious challenger?

When Khan says he wants Mayweather he gets criticised for being arrogant. If he says he doesn't want Mayweather people will say he's ducking him. Give credit to Britain's best boxer for a generation. Probably be the best ever British boxer.

Think Khan has fought some quality.....argument doesn't hold water for me..

Khan could have avoided Maidana. GBP never wanted him to fight Maidana but he wanted to. Who else could he have fought at 140lbs? Alexander never wanted to know and Bradley couldn't take the fight because he had stuff to sort out.

Don't really think Khan has done an awful lot wrong in terms of opponents since moving to Golden Boy to be honest.
