Would anyone be interested in starting an online franchise in Madden 12?

ill join, i have to be honest, ive joined these things before and forgot about them but if the games are after 9pm or on the weekend, im good for it

I would as I enjoy online franchise but I'm a PS3 guy

Some ground rules:

Anyone can pick any available team.

Players can only go for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter and if they're losing by 4+ points or losing by any score inside the 4th quarter 2 minute warning.

Free agency will be weekly and be in an order. If you pick out of turn you release the player and join the back of the line for that week.

All games for one week must be completed before anyone moves on.

We'll keep a thread on here so players can see when their next human opponent is available and update others on results and free agent picks. I won't set it up until a decent amount of guys are up for it and tell any friends who might be interested.

I'll set it up if we can get about 10 guys involved, 16 may be a bit too hopeful.

I'm interested, but like Niner, its weekdays after 9 and possibly Saturdays. Tuesdays are out.

If you have any problems with game times you can just ask guys on here or on XBL.

More rules:

7 minute quarters, 20 second accelerated clock or no accelerated clock? I don't mind either way.

No quitters, if anybody quits no matter how hopeless of a comeback you will lose your free agent pick for that week.

Default sliders will be used.

what are the rules on hurry up offense and how many more people are we likly to get?
quite good we have every one playing everyone first season

Ideally I would like to get more people but at the minute it looks like just being the four of us. It's good we're all in a division another human.

I'll set it up tomorrow and if no one else joins by the weekend we can start on Monday, although having said that Mondays are out for me as I play 6-a-side.

I think it would be best if we have the same rule as 4th down for hurry up.

but if thres 4 of us then wouldnt it make sense to all go into 1 unused division as it gurentees 6 games against each other a seaon as at the moment it could be as low as 2, at the moment its 4 for this year

Still interested, but very busy last few evenings - we play Sundays, train Tuesdays and work is hell at the moment. Should have time tomorrow night and maybe Friday....

If niner and skins4ever have joined then I suppose you can start. Me and skins4ever will have to arrange a time/day but for matches against CPU go for it. Just don't play week 2 until we've all played week 1.

I'm 4 games into season 2 with the Steelers. Went 11-5, won AFCN then lost the AFC CG to the Patriots 37-35. Picked up Arian Foster and Mario Manningham in free agency. 4-0.

I wouldn't waste my time or money on 2k5. I had it back in the day after watching my first NFL game. It was good but won't beat Madden 12 standards despite what 2k5 fanboys want you to believe.

No I traded Ward and Cotchery to the Jaguars for draft picks. So I've got Wallace, Manningham, Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders and a couple of rookies at WR, and a Mendenhall-Foster running game.

more deep throws
smarter run plays
better punts
be more careful with kick-offs
be smarter in D-fence

You go in to madden online in the xbox live menu, go to franchise, join franchise, search for 606v2 League and enter the password and select your team.

Me and cherriesfan have the same names on xbox live.

As you're the Redskins your first match is with me but I won't be available now until tuesday night. College football and NHL tomorrow, NFL sunday and 6-a-side on monday nights.

CPU Trades

I'll turn it on so we can make either 1 or 2 trades, for any player from any team, they'll have to be a straight swap, i.e. WR for WR.

Only one player from each team, so if I trade Jacobs for Mendenhall, nobody else can trade for a Steeler.

Once everyone has completed their trades the feature will remain off until season 2.

Do you guys want 1 or 2 trades?
