Tonight's her last night working for Sky apparently.

Twitter just says she is "taking a break". End of contract, or preggers perhaps?

Maybe giving Nicky some lessons; she has a very nice swing.

Perhaps doing some more ghastly adverts for Titleist? Personally I won't be sad to see the back of her - she irritates me immensely.

A big surprise. i would have thought her Sky salary was paying the bills at the moment.

Have to say I think she has lost it a little bit. Seems to have aged 5 years in the past 1 year, though thats a bit rich coming from me to be honest.

Apparently Sky don't let their employees take a 2nd job, so when they found out she'd taken a part time job in Asda, they had no alternative but to let her go.

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Beautiful Di was about the only thing that made the skysports studio analysis bit with those two tw@ts Mark Roe and Simon Holmes somewhat bearable!

It's not her job to give an opinion to be fair though though, it's to ask questions. You'd never here Steve Ryder give an opinion, he'd never dream of it. Presenters are there to ask the questions and I'd say she asked reasonably informed questions.

But that's the point Marcus. She's not there to be a golf expert but to have the skill to draw out the information from the panel. I think she has done this pretty well.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear she is preggers in a few months.

Of course she's there to ask questions, but she should also take a more interactive part in the discussions as Rob Lee does. She's a decent golfer, so should have greater knowledge of the game than she appears to have. David Livingstone is a hacker, but he still gets stuck in.

DiDo and Rob Lee are much better IMO

As for the people there who are employed supposedly for their expertise, Denis Pugh is right up there and I think jeffkenna is being a little unfair on Simon Holmes - despite having the sort of face that most people would like to punch, he's actually quite listenable to.

Sky have very annoying main presenters/commentators but some of the sideshows are very good to listen to.

Bad - Livingstong, Critchley, Murray, Roe
Good - Lee, Pugh, Holmes, Riley, DiDo

Compare that to the BBC coverage where they are all pretty annoying

I disagree, I think she does ask good questions and acts exactly as a presenter should. Rob Lee is more like an extra pundit on there.

I think Rob Lee is the best out of the studio bunch. He almost always asks the questions I'm thinking of, he's able to contribute to the discissions having been a tour player and he seems a genuine fan of TV golf.

DiDo is a bit ABC.

I liked Roe when he first appeared on sky but he is now the most annoying guy to listen to. Now Tiger's back he's going to get even worst.

The best approach is to tape the golf and watch is back X6 stopping for the watchable golfers or if the studio is analysing the swings.

Pugh is really good, explains the technical side very well.

John Hawksworth can be good in doses. Did I ever tell you about his 3 iron shot at the..........

Mark Roe has got an irritating habit of always saying "but you know what...."

I think he must have a bet with Ian Poulter to see who can say it the most in 2011.

Sky's Golf team could do with an overhaul.

Quick google search found she used to present Setanta's PGA Tour coverage.

On her i love section she loves Tiger woods with a link to his website....

Funnily enough, the thought did occur to me as to whether Sarah [Stirk] would take over given that she already works for Sky. She knows her golf, which is the main thing, but I've only ever seen her on TV (BBC and more recently Sky News) presenting sports news rather than hosting/interviewing. I think she writes for Golf International too, or at least used to - I recall her write-up of an invitational event when she played with then-Masters champ Angel Cabrera.

I wonder if they asked Kirsty [Gallacher] to consider.

Fortunately (and I've tried and failed to make this sound as un-sexist as possible) her magnificent chest more than makes up for it, and would almost certainly divert attention away from aforementioned mouthal deformity.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel at times that it's almost as if Sky Sports don't employ female presenters because of their vast sporting knowledge and presenting skills.

I was trying to make a serious point - there probably aren't that many experienced/competent TV presenters who happen to have a former Ryder Cup captain as their Dad (and I hear that Kirsty is no mean player herself).

I accept though that she perhaps attracts a tabloid segment of the population.
