He thought that the 50 parents and children present in the lounge were there for a completely different reason and not that he was about to be named "2011 BBC Wales Sports Personality Of The Year Unsung Hero". Gareth gives up a significant amount of his time to ensure that our junior academy goes from strength to strength and does so not for financial reward but for his love of the golf club and his passion for developing junior golfers.
