Tendulkar is overrated and just a flat-track bully. When he plays on swinging or seaming wickets (England) he can't bat for toffee.

Murali was a chucker who should be expunged from the record books.
Warne was a drugs cheat and wasn't even the best Ozzie spinner ever.

Asif and Amir were framed by the BCCI to ensure Pakistani cricket never took over India.

Gregers is actually Peter Moores.

Anderson can only bowl in swinging conditions and is useless in the subcont.

I think most ordinary people would think Flintoff was England's answer to Sir Viv, or a Garry Sobers. It is only proper cricket fans who realise that he was decidedly average in the grand scheme of things.

I agree with Graeme Swann and I hope 50 Over cricket dies a death and is replaced by 40 over games or more T20's.

England haven't a hope in hells chance of winning the World Cup until they do away with this belief that 80% of players who play test cricket can make the transition to the shorter format.

Pakistan shouldn't be allowed to participate in any form of the game until a full and independant review of the PCB and their players is completed and they can be signed of as being free from cheats, liars and swindlers.

Excuses for the knee injuries aside I dont think youre too far from the mark on Vaughn. Its the sort of opinion youre not suppossed to hold but I think quite valid. He had some glorious shots but really struggled to turn that into an effective game for most of his career, and his insitance on captaining all the sides became farcical.

Eoin Morgan is the most talented batsman of all time.

Every team should have to qualify for the world cup.

The name "test match" should be abolished and replaced by what we actually mean.

Admittedly he could be unplayable on his day, but he did only take three 5 wicket hauls in Tests and his average isn't particularly impressive (nearlyt 33). I think this image that he was such a talismanic figure is based on the series in 05. Admittedly he gave Jacques Kallis kittens when the Saffers were over here, but that is about it. And he wasn't a very talismanic leader in Aus in 06/07 or when he was in a pedalo in the World Cup. But will concede that his bowling could be top drawer on it's day.

Freddie was more about the aura he brought to the side and the influence he had on the crowd. When 90% of the crowd are beer lovers who enjoy their banter, having someone of similar ilk representing you in a team lifts you.

Imagine a crowd full of Alastair Cook replicas?! Shocked

There's no denying the effect he had on the ground. He did get them into the game more. But I'd rather he has a positive effect on his teammates than the crowd.

We'd still have been a top test side if Peter Moores was Coach.

Headingley, Edgebastion and Old Trafford are the best cricket grounds in England. And should always get a test every summer.

Monty Panesaar was average at best.
