KOTV - Going downhill fast?
I've watched KOTV for years, am I the only one to have noticed a marked decline recently?
Since the advent of BoxNation, they seem to have stopped showing the American ESPN fights with Teddy & Joe commentating, what we get now is undercard fights from BoxNation events with the slowest talking man in the world commentating ("Here we are in Manchester ................ on the west coast of England") and then 'main events' which are brief highlights of BoxNation headline fights from a couple of months ago such as Clev vs Bellew, or Degale against Pete the Pole.
What has pushed me over the edge and made me write this article was the most recent programme, where the 'KOTV Gold' section was a tribute to light heavyweight legend Bob Foster's 73rd birthday (which was actually back in April), and they marked the occasion by showing him getting pancaked by Joe Frazier during his ill-fated dalliance with the heavyweight division.
Hardly Bob's finest hour, and a ridiculous way to mark his 73rd birthday which was 9 months ago anyway.
Does anyone else feel that the programme has lost it's way?

Used to watch it all the time, forget to record it or put it on a series link, I noticed this when I watched it a little while back, I think it's always been a tad cheap, but I didn't know it had stopped showing the ESPN fights which is a bit of a shame.

Also to be fair they must not get many viewers with it usually being on at like 3 in the morning so I imagine the budget on it is woeful.

Used to be a favourite of mine but haven't watched it for a few months. At my old job I used to finish at lunch time on Thursdays so I would head home and get a massive bacon sandwich and watch Tuesday's KOTV I'd recorded each week, good times.

I agree mate, I watch it on 4OD as its on at single guy loser O'Clock in the morning.
But have found myself not being bothered with it anymore.
The undercard garbage they are showing off boxnation is terrible and the guy narrating is irritating

Re: KOTV - Going downhill fast?
Nick Halling gave up the KOTV narrating job to be a Commentator on Sky Sports, I'm just guessing the money is a tiny bit better... He does the NFL as well, or at least used to haven't watched it on Sky for a bit,

I thought I was the only one who'd noticed...or watched. Agree Union, not that it was once 5* boxing EXTRAVAGANZAAA!!! but a British 2 round TKO after the fist good right hand is hardly worth broadcasting as a repeat.

Watched it for the 1st time in years the other week. Always forget to record it. Did seem full of FW content which is a shame as Id prefer US fights.
