Rugby Club Props Q&A Empty Rugby Club Props Q&A

Just watching the Rugby club and they've had a whole section interviewing 12 props as a Xmas special. I have to say I thought it was great; witty, thoughtful and at times enlightening to hear from blokes that really get far too little attention. Please can we have more post match interviews with props? Their much more amusing then a lot of the backs we have to listen to and dare I say a fair few come across smarter as well!

The twelve interviewed were:
Soane Tonga'uiha
John Golding
Dave flatman
Joe Marler
Nick Wood
Marcus Ayertza
Dan Cole
Alex Corbisiero
Martin Castrogiovani
Chris Budgen
Perry Freshwater
Mat Stevens

Props I salute you!

Loved Castro's comment...

"We (props) are good people. Ugly, but good people."

Was in stitches with some of the answers given by the fatboys.

I just watched that. Dan Cole especially was pretty funny Smile

Some great comments all round from the big fellas! Much more interesting than the average interviews.

I loved Cole's comment about front-row forwards not often being interviewed after games. It was something like:

"It's fine, after all it's a mad dash to get to the food when the whistle goes. In fact doing this interview with you now means I'm missing my dinner"

Marler being asked about what he could do well outside of rugby.

"Erm, [long pause] Paint a flower?"
