Worst names in history

Bit of fun for a Friday, who do you think has/had the worst name in the history of the WWE and why?

I'll start us off:

Bad News Brown - Sounds like the name you'd give to an unexpected skidmark.

The Rock.

Im sorry but think about it. The Rock. What a lame name lol!!!

Michael McGillicutty - whats wrong with Joe Henning

Thurman "Sparky" Plugg - he he Hardcore Bob Holly with long hair

"The" Brian Kendrick - Never got the "The"

Battle Kat

The Shockmaster

Gobbledy Gooker - Awful on every level

Arachnaman - rip-off of Spiderman - think mavrel sued WCW

Isaac Yankem DDS - Kane

Dolph Ziggler. Who would have known that what started as a crappy Gimmick the guy would become one of the best on the roster.

Dolph Ziggler is a much better porn star name than Val Venus

the undertaker is a pretty rubbish name. no different to being called the postman or the wicket keeper

Old school WWF had some rubbish names at the time, here are just a few of them:

Repo Man: The name is misleading as you'd think he works within the law for the repo-depo, but nope he was a cat burglar.

Mr Perfect: They got so desperate to name him that they turned to the Mr Men for ideas.

Papa Shango: I don't get it, was his kid also called Shango, so to save confusion he was called Papa Shango?

Tugboat: What were they thinking naming a fat wrestler after a big massive boat? What's next, renaming Brodus Clay HGV or Elephant?

Ko Ko Beware: Sorry but it makes no sense as the name sounds like an evil clown or something?

Carlito Caribbean Cool - When he just became Carlito it improved

A group as oppose to an individual wrestler, but still a crappy name. The Nexus was a decent name IMO, but The Corre? Please

I'd agree that while Sting is in itself a bad name for a wrestler, it worked perfectly with his image and signature move (the Scorpion Death Lock).

I'd also say Undertaker is a fantastic name for a wrestler...makes it sound like his opponents will be leaving the ring in a coffin.

On the subject of awful names - Zema Ion anyone? Personally I think his real name (Michael Paris) would be better.

Don't think Abyss is a great name either, for that matter...or Randy Couture (sounds like an oversexed fashion designer).

I actually enjoyed Doink as a heel. Reminded me of Stephen King's It a little.

Pennywise The Clown. Scariest character ever!! And I know what you mean when Doink used to come out with that sinister smile.

Surprised no-one's said Edge yet.

I mean really, what kind of name is Edge. An edge is a side of a shape, he might as well be called Corner. It did add a whole dimension to the Edge v Angle feud though...

Hunter Hearst Helmsley is hardly a good name tbh

Daniel Bryan still annoys me as a name and it took away the rub that keeping his old name would have have brought.

also how is BxB Hulk the name of a wrestler its barely even a word
