Can Andy Lee prize the WBA from Sturm? Empty Can Andy Lee prize the WBA from Sturm?

Macklin tried, won, but was jobbed. Murray wasn't jobbed, but didn't win. Now Andy Lee looks set to go to the lions den in search of the WBA Middleweight belt.

Simple question, can he do it and if so how?

Considering the IBF title is held by Daniel Geale, I think his chances of getting it from Sturm are pretty low. Try the WBA...

Just read this about Geale.

In May 2011, Geale defeated Sebastian Sylvester in Germany by split decision (scores of 118-110, 118-112, 110-118) to become the new IBF middleweight world champion.

What were the judges watching to come out with such wide scores?

Andy Lee has a chance if this fight could be made in America but in Germany i can't see him pulling it off. He's stepped it up a level recently though and has a chance.
