See Doumbia got off the bench for the last 30 seconds at the weekend. In fairness, he does have the quality of Gervinho and Kalou ahead of him, so most £23m strikers would struggle to get a game in that team.

TBH ED......36M is a big offer. HOWEVER, everyone else would be over inflated if you try and sign them from other managers. Plus, what kind of TP would be accepted with that kind of money for the kind of talent you would need to replace him.

It is rather like my Rodwell offer.

I would say no to it myself.
