the video for lamar clark comes up with round 4. boxrec says it ends in 2 though :/

Well spotted!

According to Muhammad Ali: A Biography by Anthony O. Edmonds the fight was stopped in the 2nd round, as Clark had suffered a broken nose, so I reckon the caption must be wrong.

Interestingly, Clark was no mug, and had over 20 KO1 victories amongst a hugely impressive run of 41 straight KO wins.

The quality of his opponents isn't the best but he definately had dynamite in his hands. He very rarely got taken out of the 2nd which is impressive stuff.

This is a really good thread idea, any plans on doing the same for other boxers?

This Ali fella looks alright. I'm surprised there's no thread on him already somewhere. Any idea what was going on between the Folley and Quarry fights? Seems odd he'd just stop for three years and relinquish his title.
