The firm.

Has anyone seen this series, we saw the pilot episode here in SA last night.

It is about this lawyer who is in the witness protection program for about 10 years. He assisted the FBI to imprison a Mob Boss, but now 10 years later the mob is after him. At the same time he got involved with a client he has to defend for murder, but all is not what it seems.

So he is approached by this big leagl firm wanting to have an association with him to handle their criminal cases. But that is not the real reason.

The first episode is a little all over the place as it establishes time lines, but it is easy to follow.

Looks like a really good storyline.

It's based on the events in the Grisham book and the Tom Crusie film of the same name, as you've alluded to it's set 10yrs after the incidents in both those sources. I've not seen any episodes yet I was waiting to see who picked it up first over here in the UK and was quite looking forward to seeing what they did with the show.

Sadly it seems the show was cancelled after 5 episodes due to low ratings, though it seems they will run all 22 episodes of the season.
