The problem is, i don't know any college players, only the few i've read on previous mocks.

I'm in a similar situation pal- could maybe do the first 2 rounds and then i'm gonna have to do some serious research after that but i'll give it a go anyway.

I might not get much chance to do alot of research, as at moment i can only get on this site at work, and probably get blocked to alot of sites on net. I also wouldn't know what postitions would need to get covered by the teams. It's not that i don't want to take part, i'd love to, but i just don't think i'm knowledgeable enough to be honest.

Get bored quite easily at work so and spend quite a bit of time on the NFLUK boards and so have read up all i can on my favoured Dolphins so could quite easily pick for them but unfortunately they have already been selected.I've ended up reading up on my 2nd team the Bengals and so i have a good idea of the various players they need to get. They will obviously need a QB if Carson retires, and WR is possibly next on their list dependent on the QB situation.Only place they don't really need help is in the DB's so shouldn't be too tough to fill the rest. I'm just not that knowledgeable on College players past probably the 2nd round. Anyone know of any sites to look at that could help me out?

try the following www.drafttek.com probably the best Draftboard on the Net, there is even a section where it lets you input the needs of what position you think a team should draft and in what round, then picks the best available.

another is www.sidelinescouting.com another site with a lot of indepth on players and in what positions both sites have mock picks so if you look you can get a feel who is going where upto the 7th round

Cheers guys, i already look at the Walter football and bleacher report just for general NFL reading, but i think I'll check out the scouting and draft sites you mentioned.

How about 3 hours per pick during daylight hours, if time runs out the next team can draft.

Owners can send an email to an independent party of a list of players they want to draft, by order who they want most. That person can then post the pick at the end of the time slot with the highest player available?

If we can get 2 more in we can double up teams, 1 more if Derby Blue wants a go, although Pats have 2 picks I figure it would be easy to have 2 different people pick for them, unless any Pats fan show up.

as for time frames we can look at it, might not need though as first 10-11 will go quick as its taking the best prospects.

I'll try to do it for the Browns if you set a date I can spend a few days researching (if another Browns fan is up for it I'm happy for them to do it instead). If you need extras you could try messaging people from the "Which team are you a fan of?" thread to see if they want to get involved by either drafting for the team they support or to take left over teams.

I know we have at least two Skins fans on here. We'd better get this project moving too.

I agree with Pr4wn we should get this moving if no one else is looking to pick a team I think everyone should pick one more team that they are happy to draft for. With the Pats, I think one person should do both picks if they are able to do so

We'll leave people the weekend to dign up and we'll get this rolling on Monday if that's ok with everyone else!

So is that the draft starting then? How long do we get to make our pick? And who decides who Simonhufc picks? As he's away until April 10th

We'll cross that bridge when we come to it! We have plenty of time until the actual draft so we're not in any huge rush.

Whoever is on the clock will receive a PM telling them that it's their pick. This will hopefully get things moving quicker.

I suppose we've got 5 days until his back and he's only picking number 18 so he may be back by then depending on how long it takes.
