Cool, just kind of want it to be as high up the article and as obvious as possible (i'm thinking about my #32 pick here!!)

Do you know how many rounds we are going to be doing? I'm currently writing up some positional lists to help me out but would be useful to know how many rounds I need to prepare for.

Probably just the first round, I think. We'll see how we're doing after that.

That's less than I was expecting so that's good, easily got enough for the Browns if its just the first round, better get preparing for the Bears. I can probably make it to the third round but most of that would just be based on ranking of sites.

I think we could all probably cope with 3 rounds but I'm fine with whatever it's just a bit of fun.

It's going on now Pr4wn says he is sending people a message when it's their pick, I assume you have roughly a day before someone picks for you. Pr4wn assigned us all a second team, you have the Fins and the Pats second pick (28), GlasgowHibs has their Oakland pick.

I'm happy with that as long as the Browns pick comes up before Saturday, and then the Bears pick takes until Tuesday as I'll be away between these days.

Pr4wn can I message you an ordered list for the Bears so if they come around before Tuesday you can pick for me without a delay? Just in case it goes quickly over the weekend.

No. I've used the drafttek site, linked in an earlier post, to find out the needs of the team, and college players names as i didn't know any. They have him down as can play OLB.

That would be ok but Nick Fairley is a 300lbs defensive tackle who is definitely not suited to anything other than 4-3 DT or 3-4 DE

You're so right. I've got mixed up with the abbreviations, sorry. Meant to put DE34, not OLB. my approach is to sort out their defence first.

And thats probably the best approach. Fitzpatrick is a decent enough QB for one more year and given the general mess of the Bills they will be picking high at the next draft.

Von Miller over Fairley for me. Pass rushers come at a premium and Miller is the best in the draft. Fairley is sliding down draft boards fast.

nice to see we have started, as for how many rounds, why not see how many we can get through before the actual draft starts, dont worry if you are not too familiar with college players there a 2 web sites posted on the 1st page that list a lot of college players.

Good plan, by then he'll have had 3 days. Hopefully you shouldn't have this delay over my pick I'm away from laptops and only able to access the site on my phone at the moment but pr4wn has a list of my top options for my first two browns picks and first bears pick.

maybe the next pick should also be told to be prepared, or keep an eye on the thread, so whoever is picking for the Cardinals should know that they will be on the clock soon

really, what a waste of a 1st round pick seeing as Sheppard is at best a 3rd/4th round pick

Well they need depth at LB more than any other position, it's all very well speculating what Carson and Ocho are going to do but their are QBs in the free agency and the defense needs strengthening.

yeah there is Aldon Smith, even Kerrigan projected as 20th pick will be a good OLB or Bowers as a solid 4-3 End

They might need depth but when you are picking 4th overall and paying something like $35million in guarantee's you dont want to waste on a player you can sign 3 rounds later and pay $750k salary

I agree they need LB depth but when a team is picking as high as that in the draft it is likely that they have more than one need so seeing as we aren't doing trades just move on to the next need.

Bengals look like they are losing TO and Ochocinco so a WR could go here. They also were 4th worst in the league for sacks so a pass rusher could be an option. Looks like they are losing Joseph at CB so seeing as there are a couple of elite corner prospects they could also be here. Failing all else draft BPA and he is probably better than anyone they have in that position at the moment

This is only a mock draft, they need an LB, I'm not condemning them to actually picking Sheppard, just trying to make it interesting. Sometimes it's the guys who are projected late picks that perform better than the hyped guys.

He has made his pick and in true Al Davies style it confounds the rest of the league
