Each country is allowed to call up a maximum of FOUR legends from days gone by (seeing as it's a fantasy tournament).

The definite rule on Legends.

Players who are currently still active can be called up as legends, but it will take up one of your 4 legends spaces. Also the four legends in your squad must be labelled as legends to signify they are your four legends in their prime. I agree that it might be better if it was purely players who had retired, but I will leave the rule open so anyone could choose someone from years gone by or recent times. It widens the pool of players to be honest.

For example, Thierry Henry would be the guy running around the MLS, but Thierry Henry (Legend) would be the guy in his prime at Arsenal. And no, you can't have two of the same player (one as legend and one as normal) as that would be stupid.

For calculating the results, i've just decided to add up the scores for each fixture and divide by the amount of votes. Then rounded to the nearest whole number. It works out fairer to some than to others, so I expect a backlash.

Recalculated with the "Extra goal per three winning votes" rule.

I know. 11 divided by 8 votes = 1.375, 4 divided by 8 votes = 0.5

1.375 rounded to nearest whole number = 1

I haven't included that, depends if enough people want me to.

It's an option in some cases I suppose, where results came out like the Ukraine/Sweden one. Your call though, I was happy with a draw!

Have recalculated and edited accordingly. Seems fairer this way.

Well done Dicey, although until I made it slightly fairer for those with more votes we were a 1-1 draw.

I saw that Marky to be fair I thought you would have won, the Croatian Team looks far better on paper than the Irish one did

the rules state that i can put just formation if i want Yi.

You write out your starting XI, short tactics and substitutions and the fixtures will be voted on by everyone not in the same group, ie if you're in Group A you only need to vote on Groups B, C and D.

yes but since i had a PC problem it was ok for me to do just Formation. and in the PM i got from marky it said i can do a description of my tactics if i want.
