Katsidis needs to retire, now

Katsidis walked into the ring last night as a heavy favourite against little know Albert Mensah. It was suppose to be a tune up, someone with little power who he could walk through so he could have other shot at a title.

However, for the 3rd time in a row he was soundly beaten, getting out boxed and even bullied by Mensah. He fought the ony way he can but was out of his feet in the 10th and would've been stopped had it been a 12 rounder. The power had gone as had the punch resistance.

It's a shame that he never won a 'world' title. He is without a doubt one of the most entertaining fighters (if not extremely limited) over the last 10 years. He is 1-4 in his last 5 and has taken enough punishment from Guerrero and Marquez alone that a normal fighter will experience win their entire careers

I just hope that he doesn't fight for money as he could could be seriously hurt if he fights again

One of my favourite fighters to watch, saw on ESB that he'd dropped a UD and instantly had the same reaction. His trainer needs to sit him down and explain to him that it's over.

Unfortunately the style he employed has a short shelf life and his time has run out.

The guy always came to fight and provide entertainment. Pity his defence was always to break the opponent's fists with his chin. Seems like a nice bloke also.

Time to retire Kats. Thanks for the wonderful entertainment. Your health comes first mate.

Yeah this result should tell him its time to retire. Havent seen the fight but it was supposed to just be a tune up.
