He's a little bit of an upgrade of on Nani IMO. When he isn't playing well, he is better than Nani when he isn't playing well.

I would have taken Di Maria at the end of last season, but now I have Reus, Vucinic and Jovetic instead, I'm quite glad I missed out.

Sorry, I'd be looking for cash for either to get my own replacements in.

I would also be short of an U21 if I sold Clyne

Carrick + Mexes + Chivu + Fabio + Eto'o + Clichy
=
Marcelo + Neymar + Casemiro + Juan

Id need: Ibrahimovic, Pepe. Clichy OR Assou Ekotto & Marchisio
to be involved in a deal if possible.

Nothing would really tempt me to let Ozil go, but I'd listen to offers on Arbeloa if they include a quality RB replacement.

A big gain each and a small gain each. ENQ though.

I can't put Pastore in, he has been awesome for PSG in the last few games and it's thanks to him that Ibra is looking good for you.

Plus I also put Vidal >> Denisov so see it as two big gains for you and a big one and small one for me.

Could do:

Reus + Vidal + Jagielka + Jovetic for Di Maria + Machisio + Pepe + Rodriguez

Reus < Di Maria
Vidal > Marchisio
Jagielka << Pepe
Jovetic >> Rodriguez

One big gain and one small gain each
Also an ENQ at this stage

Okay. I think we are too far apart in our valuations to make it worth negotiating

If you are that desperate to get Pastore, how about:

Pastore + Medel + Jagielka + Reus for Rodriguez + Marchisio + Di Maria + Pepe

Enq atm

Just because those three are considered your best doesn't mean they're equal to the three best of others unfortunately. Chiellini > Pepe for most of the league and on Giovinco, people are finally realising he is quality. Rodriguez is potential at present, I like him but does he really win you votes? I can't see it. How many have actually seen him outside of a game in the CL or Europa League?
I was Porto manager back on the Furious League so my interest is one more of having being aware of him over time (although he was always still back up then too behind Cazorla)
Starting to fall into the Viva level of self belief in your own players disabling you from ever making an equal trade.

I prefer Pepe, was a part of that fantastic Real Madrid defense who kept fourteen clean sheets in La Liga last season. Achieving more than Juventus. In the Champions League he didn't look great against Chelsea, in any case. I'm happy to have Pepe and Rami in defense because I believe that's a better defense than Chiellini and Rami.

and on Giovinco, people are finally realising he is quality.
A couple of managers are admitting they like him, yes. But he's at nowhere near the level of Rodriguez, who I'll come onto in a minute. But again, being part of a Real Madrid side who won the league gets you plaudits. I'd sooner have those players, who have achieved something and been part of a big side.

Rodriguez is potential at present, I like him but does he really win you votes? I can't see it. How many have actually seen him outside of a game in the CL or Europa League? It's not relevant where people have watched the players, whether it is in the European games, or in the league games. I don't really care. I have only seen a lot of the players in this league in the Champions League or Europa League. Am I ashamed of that? No. I'm not going to sit through all the leagues and watch them. The European games give snippets of those players and that's enough to rate them, in my mind anyway.

I think Viva's one of the best managers on here. He's like me, he refuses to be ripped off and stands by his ratings. I'm not going to suddenly think Pepe is worse than Chiellini just because you're trying to convince me to do a deal. It's like a salesman, they're not going to tell you the full truth. They're not your friend, they're trying to rip you off. I don't see you offering me a deal worth taking. If you genuinely wanted Di Maria or Pepe you'd offer better.

Truthfully speaking you have the weakest defence in the Premier League, Chiellini is a better overall defender than Pepe who is regarded as a thug by most at best whilst many remember with Chiellini how much he was sought after in the most recent Furious League when CF refused to sell him and he was fetching over 45m.

Rodriguez, you didn't actually address the point of if he is good or not, youve already mentioned you prefer players who are part of a big side, yet you rate more a player who plays in a generally regarded Tier 2 league.

Of course it is relevant if people have seen players or have an opinion upon players ability for they then judge the games, if others fail to rate a player then no matter of tactics etc will assist them.

I think Viva is the best tactical manager in the Premier League, I state as much in my tactics v him. Transfer wise though he has built up a wall of having to always get one over his rival that any deal he's involved has to be so heavily skewered in his favour that its no surprise he's the least traded with manager in the league. He's placed his players on such a pedestal that when he states on the homepage he's up for a trade everyone rolls their eyes, don't fall into that category.
