Audley Harrison - Destiny Fulfilled
Audley Harrison has this morning been crowned the WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World, after WBA officials overturned the result of his much derided performance against David Haye last November.
WBA supervisor Dave Roden's report on the bout was mislaid by the organisation's officials, and has only recently come to light. Roden reported that referee Dave Parris was wrong to stop the fight as Harrison was clearly working to a game plan and in a perfectly good state to continue at the time the fight was 'stopped'.
As Haye was the first to leave the ring after the 'result' was announced he technically retired from the contest, leaving fans favourite Harrison as winner and new champion.
This news scuppers Haye's plans for a fight with one of the Klitschko brothers later in the year, and Haye is left hoping that his good friend Audley will grant him a re-match before his retirement in October.

About time, knew that fight was a fix. Referee didn't let him get started.

Re: Audley Harrison - Destiny Fulfilled
he was tweeting not too long ago that it got stopped too early and he was just waiting to get haye into the later rounds and then strike.
if it did go to play, haye would be 8 rounds up - before harrison started punching. no way he would have tagged haye any more than ruiz did, so easy points victory for haye, even if harrison went to plan.

Anyone told Audley that fights don't regularly go 25 rounds these days
They could still be fighting now and he wouldn't have landed a punch of any significance
