Du Plessis has now been asked to fulfil his comitments for South Africa for their one day series Vs Zimbabwe so will no longer be playing for Somerset in the T20 tournament. Brian Rose has said the club will try to announce a new overseas signing within 24 hours.

Go grab a massive name now Rose! Very Happy

This is turning into a bit of a debacle! First we started off with van de Merwe as our overseas, but then he had visa issues so we got Philander in to start the CC season and Albie Morkel to replace VDW in the T20's. Then Chris Gayle signs, and then drops out to be replaced by Faf and now he drops out! It's getting a little silly now!
