According to Sky Sports "England manager Roy Hodgson has indicated that he is ready to give another chance to players who have failed to deliver at previous tournaments".

That'll be good news then to Rooney, Gerard and Lampard to name but just three...

Wouldn't take Gerrard, short of form and fitness this season.

It makes sense really.

If Roy Hodgson brings in all young players for the Euro 2012 tournament and they fail then he has nowhere to go afterwards.

Atleast if he picks all the failed older players and they fail he can show them the door after the tournament then build with the younger players toward the next World Cup.
