"Some, no doubt, will shrug this off as another hard luck story. It was nothing of the sort. How can it be a hard-luck story when your line-out radar goes so badly on the blink that first Pocock, then Will Genia seize Welsh over-throws?
How can it be a hard-luck story when your tactical kicking turned out to be ineffective to the point of counter-productive? ...
How can it be a hard-luck story when your scrum-half puts the ball out on the full and Australia proceed to score from the subsequent line-out? ...

Rhys Webb is surely worth a start ... if Wales had adhered to the sound principle of picking form players, Dan Biggar would have been on hand for a run at No. 10. For reasons best known to themselves, they chose to leave the match-winning Osprey at home, a decision made all the harder to understand given Priestland's struggle."

He's right about Wales first half line out. Thought we'd moved beyond that. With Oz having 67% possession we had no ball to play with so the first half was very harum scarum even though Wales had upped the tempo from the first test. Ironically Barnes kickoff on the full gifted Norths try after a trademark Wales short line out throw. Wonder how much longer we'll get away with that one. The big question is WHERE WAS KEN OWENS? Hibbards contribution was the two Oz pens at the death. Has he got an Aussie granny? Biggar was taken off at halftime against the BaBas. Has that got something to do with it? Good club players don't always make the step up. Graeme Hick comes to mind.

Don, the fact we had so little possession in the first half made it all the more frustrating that we chose to kick away possession so often in the second half.

Dontheman, Biggar was taken off against the Babas with less than 15 mins to go, because of an injury, I think. He had already been told earlier in the week he wasn't going to Oz. Yet Hook did the place kicking throughout the game. The whole thing was very strange.

The Priest went down to Oz with the early party, as the anointed first choice 10. Biggar was never in the mix, as far as the coaches were concerned. Hook played nearly all the Babas game at centre, and was used as a substitute 15 in the 1st test, as was the case in the 6N also. In France he is seen as a 10, and has not played at centre or fullback at all.

The management team appear have committed themselves strongly to Priestland and are lothe to try anyone else.
