Should IRB points be for "grabs" in the final match of a series that is already won? In my mind the team earn the right to experiment by win the series already and might be stop by keep the best team for the ranking points. Also after the two loss then the points to winning team might be highest so the team already lost the tour can get more points by winning the third match up.

Is it fair?

Points should be doubled like in a World Cup so that teams don't devalue Test matches by experimenting.

I agree with AWOP, a team must declare before a test series that they don't want any points for the series, but then they can't lose any points either.

This way we can make a bigger farce of the ranking system. Whistle
