Any thoughts on the ODI series starting a week today? How will the teams line up - in particular, will Australia follow England's lead & field 5 "proper" bowlers? If Morgan excels, can he force his way back into the test side?

If they bowl well, anything over 150 will be a challenge unless it completely dries up.

our batting can be very fragile.

This Aussie guy seems pretty happy that Aussie have got this if Hussey stays out there.

Conditions don't look to be easing too much.

Lee is very good at swinging and getting away with it.

for all the aussie is saying these conditions will see aussie win, it does seem less of a minefield than it was.

You'd say the PP are the crucial period. If Bell and Cook can get past 10, then it looks comfortable if you get in. Then they can just manuevre the field for 3-4 an over.

Think 200 is closer to par

Probably suits our top 3 more than Australia's. Clarke, Watson and Hussey have all showed if you play yourself in, its not too hard.

Overall i think england have been fairly poor after a good start. They've allowed aussie to reach a total that they will struggle with after a great start.

Could have been a lot better.

yup Holding and the gob think they have played well and are mentally over england now.

A very good innings by Hussey ends. Without him, Australia would have been sunk.

Good disciplined bowling by England. I feel we can chase 201, the conditions have improved and Australia are far away from being a World-Class unit. Come on England!

with it drying out it should get a little easier but you still have to bat well.

if it flattens a tad it could end up being a very poor total but if it doesn't it could be a struggle.

Do think its getting easier, and Australia didn't bat particularly well, regardless of conditions.

Hussey and Lee did very well to rescue that innings. 200 is twenty more than I thought they could get.

But although there was still something there for the bowlers it looked a lot easier batting in those later overs. Reckon as long as England don't get undone by the new ball this target won't be too difficult.

Run rate was never an issue, Australia have to take 10 wickets to win

England cantering. If this was a football match, England would be 2-0 up after 60 minutes.

I can only imagine that England are trying to break some sort of record for keeping the required run rate pretty much unchanged for the longest possible period....

Like to see a few fresh faces play on tues. Maybe Trott, Cook, Bell and Bresnan play some CC instead.

I've been out and about about but following this.

Could have England have done this quicker? Seems like a right old trundle.

Was it a pitch they needed to stay watchful on? Overall a slow but dominant win by the looks of it.

They never needed to take risks trebs.

I'd rather our key players play a 4 day game, than a throw away ODI that has a serious chance of being rained off.

We probably would have won 5-0 had it not been for the weather. Anyway another good win, that's 9-0 for ODIs this year. Let's round off a 4-0 win on Tuesday!

It's my families old club. Our family have been from around Truro for centuries and many have been involved up there or supported over the years. It's a great thing for them to have England come to Town for the first time ever.

I love the fit sporty types. I think it as being a fit county badders lass that added to the appeal of my wife when i met her (lovely as she was regardless).
