Laugh

Well tomorrow could throw up some interesting results.

Can't see Baghdatis troubling Murray.

I fancy Roddick to take out Ferrer.

Nishikori to take Delpo in 4.

I don't need to be desperate for that, as I know it is coming.

I find your delusions funny though. But one of us will be right and one of us will be wrong. Sadly, you are going to be wrong. I feel sorry for Murray fans really, they never learn. Slam after slam.... laughing

I see Murray winning in straights.

Delpo v Nish I predict will be very close. I'm going to go for Nish as my shock of the day.

Ferrer v Rod will be very close. Roddick to edge it.

Cilic v Querry, Cilic to win in 4 sets.

Just being honest legend, we all want Murray to be in the final.

As he is a much easier proposition than the hungry hippo known as JW Tsonga.

They are socal, and Novak's draw looks great for him. I'd be very surprised if he didn't make it.

Murray still has a few tough looking matches to negotiate before I share a similar confidence with him.

Yeah Danny Tsonga could be a real stiff test if he can make to the semi and next round I believe he get Sam Querrey. He should take care of him though.

For certain after today's play, at least 12 seeds will be left for week 2 barring any upsets. That said we could see some more upsets today Very Happy

I won't see the Murray match today as I am attending an event I am organising so wish Andy all the best. It should be straight-forward enough for him but offers a different proposition to Karlovic. The draw has also opened up a little more for him yesterday as Raonic bombed out to Sam Querrey.

Why the hell everybody fancy Delpo out every time, is that a conspiracy (theory) against the Argentine? Delpo to stay authoritatively.

Jeremy - I fancy Nish because he moves great and if he can move Delpo around and give him a few short balls then I think he could beat him.

The longer it goes the more Nish's movement will be a factor. That's how I see it anyway. Of course, Delpo could just hit him off the court, but i fancy a bit of a surprise in this one.

I'd love to see Roddick make a deep run in what could be his last W.

Besides, as much as a I appreciate Ferrer's no nonsense work ethic, I can't think of a more uninspirational player.

Well if Roddick is gonna do anything this year it is either here or US Open. I knew Roddick was gonna beat Murray that year but I didn't see a 5 setter with Federer...

Roddick is capable of turning it on. It is a big big injustice that he only has 1 slam to his name.

This is the best slam for a while though.... Lots of variety and "shock" wins. Other players besides the big 4 have shone!

Rosol the seed slayer is going the way of Gulbis. Now we know why Rosol is #100 in the world, he doesn't know what consistency is!

A shame, I had hoped for better from Rosol. Hopefully in a strange way, this might settle Fed's nerves and make him realise that actually, upsets are very rare and there's a reason why he hasn't been prone to them in the grand slams for a long time.

Serena is really out of sorts. It's like the FO all over again.

It's surprising to see her struggling like this.

I keep expecting her to step up and blast her opponent off court but it's just not happening. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many errors.

Serena is definitely a step slower nowadays.

Today's the first day I've watched of these championships and it looks to me like the conditions are very slow (for a grass court).

Johny Mac not as enamored by Roddick just said that there are 50 guys on tour with as big or bigger forehand than Roddick. As I have always maintained Roddick forehand is overrated. He really needs to get a run though at wimby and I hope he gets by Ferrer and Del Po it would be a nice boost for him if he could get a deep wimby run in before the US hardcourt.
