Gloucester have added another specialist full back to their squad ahead of next season in the form of the Cornish Pirates 15 reknowned for his counter attacking and points kicking.

Also renowned for his unique place-kicking style. Another big loss for the Pirates who seem to be angling for some DR players from Glaws in return for releasing Cook from his contract.

Could be a good option for the Pirates. They get some DR players from Glaws and possibly Cook back on loan if Glaws aren't using him in the short term and in a couple of years if it doesn't work out they could always just sign him back again.

Glaws have some pretty talented youngsters kicking about. If Pirates could get their hands on Ryan Mills for a decent proportion of next season they'd be very happy indeed.

They could probably do with Koree Britton, with Dave Ward going to Quins and Tom Cowan-Dickie switching his DR to Plymouth.

A decent signing, but would've liked a forward! After having only 1 specialist FB for years, we now have 3! We're also going to have 3 kicking options on the field.

We just need to re-sign Roncero now...

I should add it will also be great to have a dual reg partnership with the Pirates who have a great track record of developing players. I'm sure we'll see the likes of Britton, Clarke and Billy Burns head south.

Does every prem team have a DR team? And if so is it worked out by distance or the clubs choice or something?

Nothing formal with DR tie ups, but proximity is pretty important as players would probably be training at both clubs during the week. The 200mile trek from Penzance to Gloucester could become a bit monotonous if it's done twice a week or so.

Glaws have sent players to Moseley before now. Exeter had about 4 or 5 players at both Pirates and Albion, but there is a limit on the number of DR/loanees in the matchday squad. It's likely that the number of Tigers players at Notts precipitated the limit a couple of seasons ago. The soon-to-be Oxford Exiles had players from Reading Exiles this season, and from Wasps in the past.

Is that the guy who looks like he should be sitting on the lavvy? He takes bloody ages to take a kick. Take a good book to any game he is involved in just to pass the time
