Manning to Manningham's Mock Draft v1. Empty Manning to Manningham's Mock Draft v1.

I say it's mine, it's about 50% me, 50% mix and match positions and team needs from several other mock drafts.

1. Carolina Panthers - Marcell Dareus DT Alabama
2. Denver Broncos - Nick Fairley DT Auburn
3. Buffalo Bills - Patrick Peterson CB LSU
4. Tennessee Titans (traded 8th pick with Cin) - Cam Newton QB Auburn
5. Arizona Cardinals - Prince Akukamara CB Nebraska
6. Cleveland Browns - Vonn Miller OLB Auburn
7. San Francisco 49ers - Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri
8. Cincinnati Bengals (from Ten) - AJ Green WR Georgia
9. Dallas Cowboys - Drake Nevis DT LSU (don't shout at me for selecting an LSU player)
10. Washington Redskins - Akeem Ayers OLB UCLA
11. Houston Texans - Marvin Austin DT North Carolina Tar Heels
12. Minnesota Vikings - Ryan Mallett QB Arkansas
13. New York Giants (traded 19th pick to Det) - Mike Pouncey OG Florida
14. St. Louis Rams - Julio Jones WR Alabama
15. Miami Dolphins - Mark Ingram RB Alabama
16. Jacksonville Jaguars - Ryan Kerrigan DE Purdue
17. New England Patriots - Anthony Catonzo OT Boston
18. San Diego Chargers - Aidon Smith DE Missouri
19. Detroit Lions (from NYG) - Tyron Smith OT USC
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - JJ Watt DE Wisconsin
21. Kansas City Chiefs - Phil Taylor NT Baylor
22. Indianapolis Colts - Nate Solder OT Colorado
23. Philadelpia Eagles - DaMarcus Love OT Arkansas
24. New Orleans Saints - Robert Quinn DE North Carolina
25. Seattle Seahawks - Andy Dalton QB TCU
26. Baltimore Ravens - Jimmy Smith CB Colorado
27. Atlanta Falcons - Justin Houston OLB Georgia
28. New England Patriots - Adrian Clayborn DE Iowa
29. Chicago Bears - Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin
30. New York Jets - Corey Liuget DE Illinois
31. Pittsburgh Steelers - Aaron Williams CB Texas
32. Green Bay Packers - Brandon Harris CB Miami

Wanted to avoid the obvious Cam Newton 1st pick. Got a couple of trades in that may happen or might not need to, tried finding a way to trade the Raiders in but can't.

I predict Ryan Mallett to be the biggest bust.

Wow! Miller is available to the Cards at 5 and they pass him up to take maybe the second best CB in the draft. Personally, I think Denver takes Miller at #2. And you have the Skins taking Ayers at 10. Interesting. So, the Skins will not revamp their DL and instead creat and awesome LB Corps of Orakpo, Fletcher and Ayers. I like that. If Ayers is everything the scouts says he is (which is rarely the case) then Orakpo is going to wreak havoc.

By the way, you have the Giants moving up against the Lions. What did the Giants give up besides their number 1? I dont think the Giants will trade up in this draft. I think their is sufficient depth in later rounds in almost all positions and they many holes to plug in their roster.

I think Miami will take Pouncey if the Giants don't draft up. Another thing is Andy Dalton, many say he could be Peyton's version of Rodgers to Favre but I think they'll ignore that need until next year.

As for the Redskins D line, I think having a solid set of LBs and DBs makes up enough for it.

Replied on other thread, might aswell just keep it to this one. Paea in 5 mocks to houston? i havent seen one. Sure not in second round?

And Ayers at 10? When Quinn doesnt go in the first round? that crazy talk.

Dalton first round? better qbs there, and he 2nd maybe 3rd round.

Love?

ALthough in my mock, i put new york trading up to get pouncey. Not sure if it will happen just wanted a trade.

I think the Giants have to trade to get Pouncey, and I think Ayers is the 2nd best LB in the draft. I might look at Paea again, maybe edit in a different DT.

But no quinn in first round, was that an oversight? Or do you see him falling? Never seen him fall out top 12 i dont think.

EDITED - Quinn added in and Marvin Austin to Houston instead of Stephen Paea.

Thought it might of been oversight, i have to check mine atleast three times incase ive made a boo boo.

Austin is good choice, very talented, but character issues. Not sure he will go that high but is first round talent, and stranger things have happened.

Some interesting selections. Not necessarily a bad thing though.

Indeed, I mean nobody called tyson Alualu to the Jags last year at #8 so anything could happen
