Olympics Day 8

Just trying to get my breath back. THREE GOLDS yesterday, taking our total to 8. We sit 4th in the table, and with any good fortune should take 3rd today on Super Saturday.......will the cyclists, rowers, Mo and Jess make it a golden one?

In the Heptathlon, the Long Jump is at 10:05, the Javelin at 11:40 and the 800m (Jess' crowning glory?) is at 20:35. Come on Ennis!

Don't forget Helen Jenkins in the Triathlon at 9am. She's the favourite and I'll think she'll win.

Women team pursuit are as much as a nailed on cert you can get, Men's four should win, Ennis has already won ( Wink

) and Mo will do us proud.

Those are my big five for today's action. I'm going with 4 golds from these and medals from elsewhere too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hunter and Purchase snatch gold too. They have improved a lot since earlier in the year and they know how to win at the Olympics

Helen Jenkins is a superb Triathlete. Absolute star, but Tri is a tough sport to win, many variables that can upset form.

Watching North Korea vs South Korea in the Table Tennis. Very disappointing, not one punchup as of yet. Could break out at anytime though.
