Felt a bit sore on saturday , but got to get back to it now . No rest for the wicked

I had a bit of a clean up frenzy myself about a week ago. Threw out years & years worth of old magazines and pamphlets. About 100 kilos of them, 4 quite high stacks some of it dating back to the 80s-90s.

I felt OK doing the power lifting in and out of the lift and through the doors to the basement but then I got that sharp-mild pain feeling in the sides... like when you strain a muscle or feel as though you've squeezed your kidneys.
Didn't warm up properly. Luckily it went no further and I stopped at the right time.

100 kilos of magazines! Jayzus!! That's a lot of printed material! I know it's heavier than you expect but that's still 2 of me, in magazines! That is one serious collection!!

Ridiculous Swanny. Some stuff was specs and details from the late 80s early 90s but products have changed. If I need new catalogues or trade lit I can just order it.

These people (product reps) come around every 6 months and update the library. They even rip out the outdated bits from my folders for me and replace them with the new stuff. Then they leave nice samples of stone, coloured anodised panel or whatever.

Yeh right ! , i bet they were copies of Razzle and Mayfair

Nearly finished , just got new fascias and guttering done just to brighten the outside up

Just make sure your mags aren't on the coffee table when the first couple arrives...

Have a garage sale... see if you can offload some of 'em.

Exactly mate. Had a tough day today. Japanese trying to rob customer (I'm like the middle man). Might have to jump on the phone again tomorrow. Dreading it... but it must be done. Show them I'm not a fool (I think)

Shall do. 5 grand for "travel allowance and lodging expense" (1 week, 2 engineers) Hotel $110/night x 7 x 2 = $1540... then next item "travelling expense" also about 5k. Customer picks them up from hotel and takes them to factory every morning/evening... 5 minutes away. They are kidding!

Been out myself this morning and bumped into best mate's sister who I hadn't seen for years. They lived in UK but are back here now. Stunningly beautiful day outside.

Yes last couple of nights have been really cold , forecast says it should be a nice weekend though

I've just put a lot of my 'winter' clothes away and brought out the shorts and summer clothes now.

Thinning down the bed too... I woke up in a sweat the other morning.

Flip flops going away now

I still wear my flip flops in the house in winter. Bloody minded?... Me?... Yep!

Just put the winter quilt on the bed though

Have you switched on the electric blanket? You can just get away without one here but I had one as a kid for a few years. I must be getting tougher.
