I am surprised thouhg they didn't bring him earlier in the series......or should we say persisted with him after WI.

deserves to be picked ahead of Taylor and now Strauss

Pick both Taylor and Bairstow. Bring in KP for Strauss(Well, they can't play in the same team anyway and I know who I'd rather have). Trott or Taylor to open.

Trott or Bell can open.....
haven't seen enough of Taylor to know how good he is technically as an opener

The idea of having Taylor as an opener is almost almost like commiting suicide as he is not a regular opening batsman for his county team. If Strauss is going to be replaced, I would have Trott as the opener, with Pietersen batting at 3, Bell at 4, Bairstow at 5 and Prior at 6. As Taylor is still new to the team, I would have him batting at 7.
