Tactics
Defence
Keep a tight line at all times. Look for United to try and attack I think it’s best we soak up pressure and look to counter through the center, so don’t stray too far. Distribute quickly into the midfield but concentrate.
Midfield
Look to control possession. Keep the ball on the deck and open up the space. Use the touchline as much as possible to create space in the channels. Mikel & Lass, look to create space and dictate play. Jack, drop back to pick up the ball and move it forward, find the gaps. Gylfi, roam the centre of the pitch and link with the forwards.
Forwards
Gylfi to support Papiss & Loic going forward. Cisse to trouble the last man and create openings. Remy to use his pace to open. Link with Gylfi and exploit any gaps. Papiss to hang on the CB’s all the time.

Look to clear our lines anyway possible. RB look to support on the overlap, provide lot’s of width. Lopez, keep your line, look for long balls. Midfield, you’ll need to put a shift in pressing as two flat rows of four. Schneiderlin, play the holding role. Fill in the holes defending with simple passes going forward. Pester their AM. Davis/Adam both play box-to-box roles. Take it in turns supporting attacking play. Adam deadly set-pieces. Look to feed attacking players with through balls into spaces & playing to Lambert’s frame/strength as plan B. Lallana play off the strikers winning knock-downs/second-balls. * Moses & Dempsey play off Berbatov, run at their fullbacks, put pressure on them.
* Berbatov look to receive the ball in the box. Be a predator in front of goal.

- WEST HAM TACTICS TO FACE SWANSEA:
--------------------------Robinson---------------------------
-----------------N'Koulou-------------M'Bia------------------
Uchida-----------------------------------------------Cissokho
-----------------------Henry------Noble----------------------
---------------------------Krancjar--------------------------
-----------Walcott-----------------------Sturridge-----------

BENCH
Ripley
Wheater
Ferriera
Drenthe
Collison
Olinga
Rodriguez
TACTICS (144 words)
We need to dominate the middle of the park and we will do that by keeping things tight. Henry should sit just in front of the back four, getting stuck in and making tackles, occupying that space just in front of the back four their AM may try to exploit. Noble should go in a box to box role, helping out and watching runs from deep in midfield while Krancjar should look to create. Walcott and Sturridge should get into the middle and use their pace to run at the centre backs, creating 3v2 situations. Cissokho and Uchida should get forward at every oppportunity as we have suitable cover while Long should look to lead the line and exploit their centre back's lack of pace. Defensively M'Bia should dominate everything in the air, man-marking the main striker while N'Koulou should cover using his pace.

-----------------------------------------------------
- Gervinho --------- Oscar ----------- Podolski -
-----------------------------------------------------
----------------- Robin Van Persie ---------------
Subs:- Szczesny,Jenkinson,Mertesacker,Santos,Chamberlain
LLORIS is a man mountain, he leads the team out today. He is a confident keeper and this has an impact throughout the team. He has a safe pair of hands, whether it be high balls or balls sent through into the box or there striker to chase, very vocal and will keep the back 4 right.
VERMAELEN and KOSCIELNY are quick and powerful and they are handed the task of marking Oppositions forward they must be on to the strikers quick, hard but fair, make them shy away from the game they MUST watch for players coming through or through balls, so he can intercept man or ball, both my are quick and powerful and won’t give them any space to get into the box as they will stay tight.
SAGNA and GIBBS are quick and will keep with the opposing wingers, force them out of play, and don’t let them get a yard...keep tight and stay tight.
SONG and ROSICKY will watch the 2nd dangerous mid coming through, they will shield the opposition away from the danger area, stop them getting onto the ball and passing it about force them into mistakes. They will also make late runs into box and is very dangerous in the air.
OSCAR is the experienced one that will link everything up from mid to att, He is a very gifted player and will create many chances for RVP.
RVP has a clever eye and his vision is brilliant, so give him the ball and let his feet to the work.

RB - Kyle Naughton
CB - Ryan Bennett
CB - Russell Martin
LB - Emilio Izaguirre
CM - Lucas Biglia
CM - Jonny Howson
RW - Robert Snodgrass
LW - Chris Burke
CAM - Wes Hoolahan

Bradley Johnson
Jacob Butterfield
Steve Morison
Adam Le Fondre--------Ruddy-----------------
Naughton---Martin---Bennett---Izaguirre
-------------Biglia---Howson-----------
Snodgrass-------Hoolahan--------Burke
-----------------Holt------------------
Tactics: Today boys lets go out there and give it a go! I want us to play possession football, so I have placed the extra man in midfield to help us with that. We look to play out from the back, with the full backs and centre backs getting it off Ruddy. The back four need to be narrow in defence, make them go around us, not through. Howson and Biglia, look to get the ball to Hoolahan, or the wingers. Work hard in there, snap at there ankles. Hoolahan, create chances, get in the hole, look to cause havoc. Snodgrass and Burke, stay out wide, and get plenty of crosses into the box. Holt work like a trojan up front, and thrive off the crosses. Lets go out there, attack, keep the ball, and we can win this game!

Re: Week Thirteen Tactics Hand-In
Aston Villa v Stoke City
- Spoiler:
- Thomas Sorensen
Alan Hutton - Robert Huth - Ryan Shawcross - Ryan Taylor
Wilson Palacios - Abou Diaby
Ashley Young - Michu - Kevin Mirallas
Peter Crouch
Subs: Ricardo Carvalho, Andy Wilkinson, Maurice Edu, Joey Barton, Matthew Etherington, Michael Kightly, Michael Owen
Sorensen, command your area, be wary of long shots and stake your claim to be number 1. Huth/Shawcross, watch out for Bent making runs in behind, drop deep on occasion to combat him and dominate in the air. Hutton/Taylor, force the wingers outside as they like to cut in, then block the cross at source. Get forward on occasion to support the wingers and get crosses in. Palacios, track Aquilani. He's not an out and out AM so will be deeper than someone who is, keep him deep and limit his impact. Diaby, box to box, be the link between defence and attack. Young/Mirallas, playing on the wings but freedom to swap wings, cut inside and shoot, go outside and cross, look for Crouch. Michu, AM/second striker, shoot on sight, look for Crouch holding up play and try and drag their DM out of position. Crouch, target man, hold up play, look for the AM's in support, shoot on sight.
Subs: 75 mins
If winning: Edu on, Michu off. Go to a 4-3-2-1/4-5-1, Edu more defensive in midfield. Counter attack on the wings with Young/Mirallas.
If losing: Owen on, Diaby off. Go to 4-1-3-2, Owen up top with Crouch.

Grygera push sinclair outside he won't do you for pace an has bo left foot. Buttner you are as quick as Lennon, push him inside as he's no left foot, get forward when it's sensible too.
Vlaar mark jelavic - they'll struggle for goals with him marked. Ridgewell sweep
Midfield:
Mulumbu watch for runs into box from am. Granero get on the ball and release it quickly to wide men, they are physical in there but poor on ball so pressure them an they'll give it up. Wanyama match them or muscle, stop Diane if he tries to carry ball.

Injuries: Vidic, Fletcher, Benzema
- Spoiler:
David de Gea
Maicon - Phil Jones - Mats Hummels - Patrice Evra
Kevin Strootman - Paul Scholes
Antonio Valencia - Shinji Kagawa - Andre Schurrle
Danny Welbeck
Subs: Anders Lindegaard, Chris Smalling, Rafael, Steven Gerrard, Ryan Giggs, Tom Cleverley, Javier Hernandez
De Gea, watch for long shots, be confident on crosses, build attacks from the back. Jones/Hummels, you have the pace to deal with Cisse, they will be expecting Rio but Roy Hodgson says he's too old. Maicon/Evra, they don't have the pace wide to trouble you, force the winger wide and block the cross, get forward yourself. Strootman, sit on the AM, likely to be Sigurdsson. Suffocate him. Scholes, dictate play from CM, feed the wingers and Kagawa, be your destructive self. Valencia/Schurrle, get crosses in, link with Kagawa. Kagawa, free role. Link midfield to Welbeck, create chances and get into the box as a second striker. Welbeck, lead the line, run in behind and shoot on sight.
Subs: 70 mins
If winning: Kagawa off, Gerrard on. Gerrard as an AM but can drop back into CM when we're under pressure.

- Swansea va West Ham:
- Howard
Cuellar-Dann-Williams-Fabio
Rodwell-Ramsey-Perch

Adebayor-Hoilett
Howard: Be vocal, be ready to claim crosses
FBs: Push their wingers wide, don’t get caught upfield.
CBs: Don’t leave the FBs one on one, cover well. Don’t get caught flat footed, hold them up if they get 1 on 1.
Perch: Cover Fabio and the back 4, simple passes from the back
Rodwell: Help break up the play if they get it into the middle, look to find Hernandez/Hoilett in space.

Hernandez: Free role, drift into space and look to pick passes/run at people. Find space out wide if necessary.
Hoilett: Drop off Adebayor, and look to run at their CBs, shoot from distance.
Adebayor: Lead the line, sit on the shoulder of the last man. Make runs into the channel.
Dominate the midfield, put pressure on theirs and attack with pace.

Rakitic----------------Suarez----------------Isco---------

Tactics:
GK:
In today for Reina but your experienced in the PL. Command your area and look to play it to our full backs.
Defence:
-Hangeland, mark their biggest striker. Use your presence to stop them playing
-Skrtl last man, you've got the pace to track runs in behind, close down players cutting inside from the wings
-FB's, get forward whenever possible. You are both superb going forward, let's get at them from the get go
Midifeld:
-Garcia sit and allow Cabaye to dictate play. If they look to neutralise him, don't be afraid to take the ball up yourself, your good enough. Get tight to their creative player and prevent wingers from cutting in for a shot.
-Cabaye, look to get it to the wings and into suarez, we've got too much pace and creativity for them.
-Rakitic/Isco/Suarez I want you interchanging. Your'e all capable of playing LW/RW/CAM, don't give Reading the chance to get on top of you. Look to play Rossi in behind their CB's.
Attack:
-Rossi, stay on the last man. No need to drop deep with Isco/Rakitic/Suarez there. Pull their CB all over the place to create space for our attacking midfielders but make the runs in behind and take your chances.

Right lads people are saying were the "Hull" of a few seasons ago in the sense that we havant one in a while but will stay up. I think that is a load of rubbish we are good enough to win our remaining games. Keep fighting all the way to the end. Like you have done all season, play 110% and like every game make me proud and the supporters proud.
. Adam boss your area, make sure we play the deep line. Make sure the defense are doing tight marking. They have some cracking lads going forward we cant give them time at all.
. Defense. Keep the deep line. A lot of non nonsense defending. Fight right to the end. Gallas and Kelly mark there strikers out of the game. Full backs attack with the wingers and always go forward when on the break.
Midfield. Drop back at all times. Play defensive for the first half. Go forward on the break with real pace and hit the wingers and full backs. Go for quick pass to the striker if you have to. 2nd half slightly more attacking.
Strikers. Drogba you have Noel upfront with you. Link up well with him. Hold the ball up knock it into him. Both of you cause a nu sense and don't let the defense breath constantly keep them busy.

Walker---Caulker---Vertonghen---Baines
Modric---Tiote
Dzagoev---------Hazard----------------Bale
Fellaini- GK instruct the back line. Get the ball out early to our FBs
- FBs to contain wingers and block crosses, keep them on the flanks, look to link up play with our wingers.
- Vertonghen to mark Lambert , Caulker to pick up wingers drifting in or AMs coming forward if no 2nd striker, play a high line to nullify Lambert's height and force him to run for a ball.
- Modric to move ball about, create space and look to dictate tempo, Tiote to enforce and nullify threats, stay deep and protect back four.
- Dzagoev and Bale to work with FBs to beat man on outside and hit balls across to the height of Llorente. Hazard to have free role linking up play to striker
- Fellaini given the remit to move between high midfield and striker role as he currently does at Everton. Use height to dominate.
Playing a high line today to combat Lambert's physical nature and to maintain pressure in their half as opportunities shall arise.
Subs: Anyukov, Mussachio, Rose, Barkley, Sterling, Suarez, Guidetti
If losing: 65 min: Tiote off, Sterling on, go 4-4-2 with Dzagoev to then act as SS + Sterling & Bale on wings, use speed against tiring FBs
If winning: 80m: Bale off, Mussachio on, go 5-4-1 with Hazard & Dzagoev on wings protecting FBs.

Starting XI:
GK: Shay Given
RB: Nathaniel Clyne
CB: Joris Mathijsen
CB: Richard Dunne
LB: Jonas Olsson
RM: Marko Marin
CM: Alberto Aquilani
CM: Stiliyan Petrov ©
LM: Charles N'Zogbia
ST: Darren Bent

Tactics
Defenders, deeper line, make life difficult today. Give them no breathing-room forcing mistakes. Strong physical challenges, soaking up pressure battling for every aerial & second ball! RB, look to support on the underlap when on counter. Petrov you’ll play holding role. Shackle yourself to their playmaker. Make it difficult getting in their faces. Aquilani box-to-box role. Use your vision playing high balls from deep/on-counter. Look to play in wingers too! Wingers look to run rampant on the wings. Look to take your players on hugging the touch line. Deadly crosses looking at both posts. Don’t be afraid to mix it up coming inside linking-up-play/shooting! Close in the space when defending shielding the back-line. Bent/Gabby, don’t be afraid to run at their centre-backs. You’ll beat them in a foot race & look to draw fouls. Alternatively, peel off markers exploiting their lack of height in FB’s. Play off the shoulders looking for space.
On 71 Mins: Stephen Warnock will come on in place of Richard Dunne. Warnock will move out to LB with Olsson moving in as a CB. Be dominating in the air. Preserve your runs going forward.
On 82 Mins: Fabian Delph will replace Stan Petrov. Play the anchor role, hard robust challenges getting into the faces of their attacking players. Break up play filling in the gaps. Fresh pair of legs running the middle of the park!

TACTICS (147 Words)
When we don't have the ball the defense must drop deep. We will form a tight unit and look to play zonally to stop their attacks. Win all the aerial balls so they have to play it on the ground. Do not give them time or space on the ball. The whole midfield needs to drop back and put in a shift, again in zones rather than man-marking. Dempsey and Montolivo must not be given time on the ball and must be tackled quickly.
Going forward, Walcott and Rodriguez should use their pace to get forward and break past their defense. Krancjar and Fyvie are both good passers of the ball and should look to instigate our attacks, Fyvie in the deep-lying role and Krancjar supporting Sturridge, who should look to make runs across the defense, use his pace which Kaboul and Zapata lack and be clinical.

Fellaini
GK instruct the back line. Get the ball out early to our FBs
FBs to contain wingers and block crosses, keep them on the flanks, look to link up play with our wingers.
Vertonghen to mark Lambert , Caulker to pick up wingers drifting in or AMs coming forward if no 2nd striker, play a high line to nullify Lambert's height and force him to run for a ball.
Modric to move ball about, create space and look to dictate tempo, Tiote to enforce and nullify threats, stay deep and protect back four.
Dzagoev and Bale to work with FBs to beat man on outside and hit balls across to the height of Llorente. Hazard to have free role linking up play to striker
Fellaini given the remit to move between high midfield and striker role as he currently does at Everton. Use height to dominate.
Playing a high line today to combat Lambert's physical nature and to maintain pressure in their half as opportunities shall arise.
