The reason is simple. Both outfits are set up to play, which sounds simple, but isn’t. It requires intention, fitness, understanding, organisation, unbelievably high skill sets across the entire squad, a positive attitude to risk, and courage. It also assumes a commitment to be multidimensional in approach rather than the one-trick pony nonsense which some teams get by on.

Ackfords thread states Leinster and the All BLacks are CURRENTLY the best in the World.I don`t know about Leinster but the AllBlacks currently cannot be disputed.
Why drag up the RWC`s incidentally the AllBlacks ARE the most successful RWC side on Games won/lost.The Boks were`nt there in 1987,1991 and there performance 1992-7 suggests they would`nt have won in1991[except 1995]
Since you don`t consider home wins relavent that would make Australia the most successful.IF you want be factual the AllBlacks are THE most successful side over all over more than a century.THE most successful inthe Professional Era.THE most successful since IRB ratings began so stop your trolling and look in the record Books don`t take my word for it.
England had there most successful period under Geoff Cooke,Jack Rowell and Sir Clive it lasted a period of about 13 years .Since 1905 England have won just 6 games versus the AB`s only one in NZ.
THE most successful NH side versus them is France with 12 and 4 of those were in NZ.

Funny thing is two years ago the thinking was the same...except the teams name was Leicester then...Before that it was ummm?
