I thought it might be fun to see if you guys had found any interesting old footage of games of yesteryear. Pre-pro era that you fancied sharing with us all...?

interesting stuff, some of the scrums seemed to just form instantly as soon as they were awarded with front rows made up of whoever was closest, or maybe I just wasn't following it properly. Some blatant feeding from the scrum-halves too, people talk as if that's a modern thing but obviously not, or maybe it was allowed in those days?

I had a copy of "The Good, the Bad and the Rugby" which was a behind the scenes of NZ's tour to Canada, Wales and Ireland in 1989. Was brilliant and I'd watch it over and over as a child but sadly my mother informs me she cannot locate it anymore.....I wouldn't so much as give a left nut for it, but I would like it!

The quality of the rugby wasn't first class, but it's a unique one to treasure in the British Isles!

Loved this one! The thing I particularly enjoy is the little bit of RiverDance in that grubber through to set up the try! If you look closely there's a clear Michael Flatley move in there as he leaps with both feet and grubbers the ball through with a behind the shin kick...only a trained Irish Dancer could have pulled that move off.

Mintie that's on YouTube somewhere-as is Blood Sweat and Touring (NZ in France 1990) and All Blacks For Africa (1992). Just type those into the search engine. The username sportscafe has them, appropriate as Salizzo was the one who was organising them.

Would like to see HLs of NZ Ireland in Dublin 97-missed that game.
