Why are premiership standards going down?????

Been to see City a couple of times this year......Not a patch on last year.....Swansea game was woeful, Southampton sloppy, Stoke, QPR and West brom games patchy at best!!!!...against Arsenal we were poor.....

Just can't seem to find a rhythm and as for the defending......It's been like amateur night on occasions!!!!

Yet we are top!!!!

Standards seem to be dropping..........and I don't know why..

Bet you wish you could play us every week after Saturdays result.

It often happens in the first half of a season after a summer international comp. Add to that those at the middle and lower end of the table are improving and a lot of the top teams are in transitional phases it's no real surprise. The rules seem to be changing a little too to hinder defending so noone looks too strong at the back. On the plus side the league is by far the most entertaining throughout in comparison to others in europe. With the Germans probably I second
