V2 WWC 2012 The Knockout Stages Last 16 Match 2

The first match up of the last 16 got underway yesterday with TNA's bully ray strolling into the last 8 leaving slater and sandow out of the competition.

Got to be Kane, while Bryan is getting all the plaudits for Team Hell No, Kane has been a major part of it as well and had a good heel run before that.

Although I think Miz has a great future and was a great champ, his recent 6 month run has been very poorly booked.

Kane however, is the carbon opposite.

Kane for me although I think Miz is a great character/ wrestler

It simply has to be Kane, I've got a funny feeling that this time next year The Miz could be a contender for this, they've obviously got plans for him as a babyface and he could be heavily involved next year, this year has been a wipe out for him though, its hard to believe he won the Main Event of WrestleMania vs Cena and became only the second heel to walk in and out of the ME of Mania as World Champion when he has been booked so poorly since.

Kane's character has been brilliant, I loved his return against Cena then the sick way he stalked Zack Ryder... The whole Cena thing was all a bit to predictable though in how it ended, it had flashes of "Kane Booking" wrote all over it, starts with a bang ends on a whimper.... After that the aura was kinda gone for men he was still booked well but that eerie aura had been killed...then whoever decided to pair up Kane and DB just stand up and take a bow, I'd say apart from his initial run against The Undertaker this has been the best run Kanes ever had, I love it, he's a screwed up character and there's nothing more screwed up than him and DB the whole things awesome....I'll be honest, I think Bryan is the star of the show but I think it helps add to the Hilarity that Kane is this big bad evil monster and Bryan's still to stubborn to recognise that

I agree with Adam, that on the basis of overall ability I would say The Miz who I've been a fan of since his tag team run with Morrison, but over the past six months he's lost a lot of stock and hasn't been anywhere near his best (through no fault of his own).

If it was on the basis of overall ability I'd have chosen Kane

The Miz i have got a feeling will have a great 2013 but his 2012 has been very poor. I know he had a slow start due to him being blaimed for the low buy rates for Survivor Series 2011. His return at Money in the bank was pretty good and was getting a good reception. But till his recent face turn he hasn't really clicked this year.

As for Kane he has had a fantastic 2012. Great feud with John Cena. Put on a couple of decent matches against Orton at Wrestle Mania and Extreme Rules. His stuff with Daniel Bryan has been hilarious as well as entertaining.
