I made a bet in the week regarding the Wales New Zealand game, can't remember who it was (Kia, Disney??)

I clearly lost, and I expect my aforementioned punishment... go ahead and change my name to whatever is deemed best mods!!

Fair play to you bluesmancometh. After the SA game in Soweto you said NZ were there for the taking. I disagreed with that point of view but you explained yourself and stuck to your guns. You still picked your team to win despite the first two losses in the AIs when it would've been easy to change your mind. I also appreciated your comments on another thread thinking someone had overstepped the mark.

So keep your name mate. We can all have different opinions on here but we should never lose sight of the fact that this is a game and that we all can be guilty of getting caught up in the battles we see played out on the pitch.

No it wasn't me mate. I think there was a beer offered if I went to the MS but that didn't happen. The only stadium I went to was Vicente Calderon tonight to see Atletico beat Sevilla 4-0.

You did bet with me Bluesman, when you said "NZ are there for the taking". But I too remember the pints on offer and not any mention of name changing or whatever.

You did actually have me convinced until 30 minutes prior to kick off that NZ might lose. As soon as I saw Kapo O Pango come out though, I knew NZ had targeted the game.

I kind of fancy England's chance of an upset though, next week. A lot of rotation for NZ for various reasons, last game syndrome and statistically the Poms win once per decade and are overdue. I can see Weepu playing 10 for 40 minutes and that should be all the handicap NZ don't need.

You'll notice how NZ's performance dip on the weekend coincided with Weepu coming on. The most inexcusable thing was his failure to put the ball into the defensive scrum that led to the turn over that led to the Welsh try. As Joubert told him seven times (I counted) to "put it in" and he duffered around like an old age pensioner on a field trip.
