Event: WWE Monday Night RAW
Airdate: Monday, November 26th, 2012 (USA Network)
Location: The Cajundome in Lafayette, La
Results by Ken Hill

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”

-The so-not-Impact Wrestling voiced recap of last week featuring the AJ-Cena-Dolph situation, as well as Ryback crashing Punk's celebration and getting jumped by the "NXT 3."

-No opening pyro as Ryback marches his way down to the ring.

Ryback v. Titus O'Neil w/Darren Young

Ryback shrugs off the headlock. Titus with a knee and backs Ryback into the corner, but Ryback reverses with some right hands. Titus comes back with an elbow and a clothesline, then some boots. Ryback fires back with a Thesz Press, head slams, and a faceplant. Titus to the outside by Young, but Ryback knocks them both down. Titus rolled back into the ring, but Young grabs Ryback's foot, and distracts him for Clash of the Titus, which barely gets a 1 count before Ryback sits back up. Titus tries it again, but gets slammed into Young on the apron. Spinebuster by Ryback, followed by the Meathook, the Shell-Shock, and it's academic.

Winner: Ryback

-Ryback on the mic now, and says it doesn't matter if its Punk, the NXT outsiders, or all four of them, he will get what he wants and is not leaving until he is fed. He leads the crowd in the "FEED! ME! MORE!" chant as we go to commercial...

-Back from break, and Ryback and the crowd are still chanting. Arena security out. Yeah, that's really going to work, and Lawler even acknowledges it's going to be lousy. One brave (stupid) security guard tries to escort him, but gets tossed. Vickie out now. She's trying to be understanding about his situation, but won't let him hold the show hostage. He doesn't care, and won't leave until he gets what he wants: Punk at TLC. Vickie obliges, but Ryback says he wasn't done: He wants Punk with Tables, Ladders, AND Chairs. Vickie says she will, as long as he leaves the ring. Ryback seems appeased and gives the guards a good scare before leaving.

-Backstage with 'Swoggle and Rosa. Hornswoggle makes light of his prank from last week, and says he, nor many people, want to kiss Rosa. She takes exception to that, as well as Alberto Del Rio, who says 'Swoggle only does these hijinks because no woman will take him seriously. Khali enters and makes Del Rio back off his friend. 'Swoggle gives Khali a low five. Apparently, this leads to a match between Khali and Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio v. The Great Khali

Khali with a giant chop to Del Rio. He takes Del Rio to the corner for another big chop, then one to the back. Del Rio ducks a clothesline and clips the knee of Khali, then starts working on the giant's arm. Kick to the head of Khali, then another boot for a two count. Del Rio wrenches the arm of Khali in the ropes. Enziguri to the bad arm. Khali with an elbow, big boot, and some clotheslines. Big chop by Khali. Ricardo distracts Khali, but has 'Swoggle biting him in the ass, literally. Del Rio hits double knees to the bad arm of Khali, the Cross Arm Breaker is in, and Khali taps. Rosa's one happy senorita.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

-Vickie in the back with Punk, who's absolutely aghast at having to go up against Ryback again when he's already 2-0. He and Heyman question if her head is clear with the AJ situation. She takes offense to that, and says the match was made because of Maddox and the NXT 3's involvement in Punk's title matches with Ryback. Punk denies any association with any of them, but it doesn't matter to Vickie, as she's made a match with Punk against either Kane or Daniel Bryan, decision courtesy of RawActive.

-Next up after the break, we hear from Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns about their actions from last week.

-WWE's "Slam of the Week" is Ryback's interruption of Punk's celebration and the NXT 3 making their presence known to Ryback yet again.

-Dean, Seth, and Roman sit down with Michael Cole. Ambrose insists that Cole ask a question. He asks if they're involved with Punk. They say no. He asks why they attacked Ryback. They talk about how wrestler answers to the GMs, who answer to the Board of Directors, who answer to the WWE Universe. Rollins considers it nothing more than a glorified popularity contest, and say they're doing this to make a difference, and to turn the company in the right direction. They're not the nWo, the Nexus, or any groups like those. They do it for justice, and consider themselves a shield against the injustice that Ryback represents. Cole questions how it's all benefited Punk, but Rollins explains that they would've done it whether it had been Ryback, Cena, or Punk suffering the consequences. Reigns has something to say, and that's that they've said enough. Interview over. Cole believes them, but King, of course, is skeptical.

-Another Fandango promo.

Tamina Snuka v. Alicia Fox

Tamina explains that women need to know their place, and AJ needs to watch this match and learn not to put her hands on Vickie again. Tamina with clotheslines to Alicia, who responds with a inside cradle for two. Tamina quickly puts her down with a Samoan Drop, drags Alicia by the hair, and heads up for the Superfly Splash, and connects for three.

Winner: Tamina Snuka

-An advert of the WWE Superstars and Divas paying a visit overseas in the Persian Gulf with our fighting men and women.

-Cena is WALKING to the ring as Vickie has EVEN MORE surprises for the seemingly new couple...

-Cena out to his usual fanfare. We recap the big kiss between him and AJ, then Dolph's verbal beatdown of AJ, who jumped him, only to be pulled off by Cena, and a brawl would break out with Ziggler getting the upper hand, then Cena getting revenge on Smackdown. Cena says he's been here 10 years and has been grilled by some of the best, but wonders why he asked so much whether AJ's a good kisser or not. Vickie out now, and says she loves to say she told everyone so. She even got them matching His and Her bathrobes. Cena: "I don't know where that's been." Vickie wonders how it'll last anyway, given AJ's past with Bryan, Punk, and Kane. AJ herself makes her way to the ring. Vickie wonders if she'll deny it, but AJ admits she's had a lot of issues with men and is trying to make a better person of herself. She actually thanks Vickie for taking her job, as it allows her to do what she wants, like copping a feel on Cena or slapping his ass. AJ says it's a shame Vickie's the boss and can't date, since it was the only way she could ever land a man.

-Dolph out now, and he's sorry to have interrupted the hen party, but the real issue is Cena jumping Ziggler from behind when he couldn't respond to getting barreled through a bathroom door. He wonders what's going through Cena's head, and it's that even when AJ's wrapped her arms around Cena and shoving her tongue down his throat, she's thinking of Dolph. Cena gets ready to head up towards Dolph, but Vickie talks him down and makes a match between the two of them tonight.

-We find out that Sheamus will face US Champion Antonio Cesaro in a big non-title match tonight. That's going to be REAL physical.

-Robert Griffin III receiving a special WWE Championship for his four touchdowns over the weekend.

Non-Title Match: IC Champion Kofi Kingston v. Tensai

Wade Barrett at ringside commentary. Tensai catches Kofi on the springboard, Kofi ducks a couple of clotheslines, and gets dropped with a clothesline. Drops Kofi for a two count. Elbows to Kofi's arm and neck, then Tensai applies an armbar. Kofi comes off the top with a Superman punch, dropkick, lariat, then the Boom Drop. Tensai blocks the TIP, then stops the slingshot kick and drops Kofi HARD with an elbow for two. Kofi dodges the Vader Bomb. Tensai reaches outside for Kofi and gets the Trouble In Paradise. Kofi with a springboard crossbody for the three.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

-Wade Barrett enters the ring, and mockingly hands the IC Title to Kofi.

-Bryan and Kane backstage. Bryan claims to be popular all over the US and the world, and shows "empirical voting data" which supposedly proves no one has voted for Kane, except maybe in Hell. Kane says he can arrange a trip for Daniel to find out for himself. Josh Matthews interrupts and shows the actual voting results, which shows Kane winning with 59% of the vote. "RED RULES!" Matthews informs Bryan he still has a match, for the first time on Raw, against Rey Mysterio! His music hits and Bryan rushes to the ring...

WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan v. Rey Mysterio

Bryan with an arm drag, then preens to the crowd. Lock up, and Bryan with another take-down. Rey with a pair of kicks and an arm wrench. Bryan counters out, Mysterio floats under him on the run-by and monkey flips him. Rey misses the senton to the outside, and Bryan with a diving knee off the apron. Back in the ring, Bryan with a hammerlock, rolling Rey up for a two count. Rey counters out with a snapmare and a drop toe hold. Bryan responds with a kick. He throws Rey to the outside, by Rey rolls through. Rey back into the ring as Bryan goes to the outside, and Bryan is frustrated as we go to break...

Rey with a kick, Bryan reverse the whip, but Rey floats over to the top. Bryan traps him in the Tree of Woe and delivers some stiff kicks to Rey. Surfboard attempt, but Bryan just rakes the eyes of Rey. Some more kick, then Bryan throws Rey belly first onto the ringside floor. Rey whipped into the ring post and rolled back in for a two count. Armbar locked in on Rey, who fights out but gets headbutted. Rey gets perched on top, but knocks Bryan off and hits a senton. Rey counters a sunset flip into a Buzzsaw kick for a near fall. Rey sets Bryan up for the 619, but Bryan counters into the No! Lock. Rey reaches the ropes before he can be cinched in. Bryan with some stiff kicks, but gets caught with a headscissors into the turnbuckle, then a 619 around the post! Rey up, drops the dime, and gets three!

Winner: Rey Mysterio

-Ricardo and Del Rio backstage, talking about how easy the match with Khali was. Rosa approaches them and thanks Alberto for defending her tonight. He thanks her and says he'll be there for her, with a wink.

-Josh Matthews backstage with Dolph Ziggler, who says Cena's "extra incentive" in their match tonight doesn't matter, as he's preoccupied with AJ, while Ziggler's focused on Money in the Bank and main eventing Raw tonight.

-Once again, we recap Dolph's verbal lashing of AJ and Cena interrupting AJ's lashing out, only to get beat down and thrown through a bathroom door by Ziggler. We then see Cena getting his revenge on Smackdown.

Dolph Ziggler v. John Cena

We're reminded about Cena's "torn meniscus" from last week, so hopefully he'll sell it well enough tonight. Headlock by Dolph, the two exchange float-overs, and Cena with a hip toss. Cena with the headlock, Ziggler reverses a whip, but gets hip tossed. Headlock by Cena again, Ziggler fights out, but gets a shoulder block. Ziggler counters a charge with an elbow, then hits a nice take-down as we go to break...

Cena on the outside in pain, as we see Ziggler whipping him hard into the steps during the break. Ziggler taunts him back in the ring with sit-ups, but gets rolled up for two. Dropkick by Ziggler, then a series of elbows. Ziggler preens to the crowd, and Cena's up for his five moves, but gets kicked in the head on the Shuffle and gets DRILLED with a DDT for a near fall. Cena counters a charge and float over by Ziggler into the STF, but Ziggler kicks him off and locks in the sleeper. Cena powers out eventually, and turns it over into the STF. Dolph manages to make the ropes, and Cena breaks the hold. Cena heads over to Ziggler, but gets dropkicked GOOD for a near fall. Ziggler up, hits a cross body, but Cena rolls through for the AA. Ziggler counters, Zig Zag, 1...2...Thr-NO! Ziggler with a roll-up for two. Cena hits the spin-out bomb, but tweaks his knee and exits to ringside. Ziggler tries to untie the turnbuckle, but AJ out to stop him, followed by Vickie. The ref tells both of them to leave as Ziggler tries to swing at Cena with the MITB briefcase, but misses and gets the AA! Three count!

Winner: John Cena

-Cena and AJ make out hot and heavy to celebrate his victory.

-Sheamus and Cesaro face off...NEXT!

-Replay of the WWE-The Soup special later this week.

Non-Title Match: US Champion Antonio Cesaro v. Sheamus

This should be really good if given enough time. Lock up, Cesaro with the shoulder block. Sheamus fires back with one of his own, then a headlock take-down. Cesaro fights out, whips Sheamus to the corner. but gets a forearm for his trouble. Knock down by Sheamus gets two. Cesaro with elbows and knees in the corner. Whip by Sheamus countered by Cesaro, but Sheamus hangs him up on the ropes. Cesaro knocks him off the apron, but gets whipped to the barricade as he approaches Sheamus outside the ring. Sheamus get tripped up by Cesaro on the steel steps as we go to break...

(Someone derped on the Smackdown ads, as the one from last week is shown. Whoops!)

Waistlock by Cesaro, then the two trade punches and uppercuts. Sheamus with the Irish Hammers, but Cesaro with a big clothesline for a near fall. Gutwrench (off the mat!) by Cesaro for two. Cesaro ties up Sheamus in the ropes and nails some stiff uppercuts. Sheamus comes rights back with shots to the back, a knee lift, then his 10 Shots. Battering ram, then the Irish Curse for a near fall on Cesaro. Cesaro counters a whip with a knee, but gets caught for White Noise. He floats out, but gets drilled by Sheamus for a two count. Sheamus tries the Cloverleaf, but Cesaro's in the ropes. Cesaro kicks him off, and hits a Towerhacker slam for a near fall. Wow! Sheamus blocks a charge, floats up for the battering ram, and gets DRILLED with an uppercut. Neutralizer attempt, backdrop by Sheamus, and a glancing Brogue Kick by Sheamus. Big Show's music hits, and he's out with a chair as Cesaro is counted out.

Winner: Sheamus

-Sheamus says if Big Show plans on bringing a chair out, he'd better use it. He's been hearing about how Show plans on retiring as World Champion. Sheamus promises to make the retirement a reality at TLC. Show says nothing, but destroys the chair he's holding to show the weapon's not a guaranteed winner for Sheamus in a couple of weeks.

-More photos from the Persian Gulf as the WWE pays a goodwill visit to the troops.

-Damien Sandow out now. He finds it imperative to remind us that his soul purpose is to rescue us from the doldrums of our own ignorance. He plans to further his crusade by taking apart his malbreather of an opponent, Zack Ryder.

Damien Sandow v. Zack Ryder

Ryder with the arm drag. Sandow retreats to the outside, but heads back in with a shoulder block to Ryder. Boots to Ryder, then a forearm while Ryder lies on the apron for two. Knees to the midsection of Ryder for a two count. Rear chinlock by Sandow. Ryder pulled down and gets a knee dropped down on him for two. Kobito Aequet for two. Ryder fights out of the headlock. Ryder reverses the whip with a facebuster, then a sharp elbow, a pair of knees, then a dropkick. Forearm in the corner, but Sandow rolls out from the Broski Boot. Ryder with the baseball slide dropkick. Ryder up top, but Sandow trips him up with ropes, then hits the Terminus neckbreaker for three.

Winner: Damien Sandow

-Backstage with Josh Matthews and Paul Heyman, who gushes about Punk surpassing Randy Savage on the all-time WWE Title reign list at 372 days. He questions the injustice of Punk having to face a monster in Kane, then Ryback at TLC.

-Recap of Cole's interview with the NXT 3, Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose, who explain how the WWE Universe is nothing more than a popularity contest and that they're a shield against injustice. Their involvement in Punk's match and against Ryback was happenstance and nothing more.

Non-Title Match: WWE Champion CM Punk v. WWE Tag Team Champion Kane

Punk with a chop to Kane, which only angers Kane. Kicks to Kane's knee and chops to the chest, but Kane goozles him and hits some uppercuts and stomps a mudhole in Punk. Uppercut to Punk. Punk reverses a whip into a kick, followed by some boots. Front headlock by Punk, but Kane muscles him up and drops him on the ropes. Kane boots Punk off the apron to the ringside floor as we go to our final commercial break...

Punk working on the left knee of Kane. Kane with rights to Punk. Punk rolls outside as he may have tweaked something. He hangs up Kane on the ropes, then hits a suicide dive as he checks his knee. Back in the ring, Punk lays the boots to Kane in the corner. Running knee, then another, but Kane hits an uppercut on the third go-around. Clotheslines to Punk, followed by a sidewalk slam for two. Kane up, and hits the top-rope clothesline. Kane sets for the chokeslam, but Punk ducks under for a neckbreaker and a near fall. Springboard, but Kane goozles Punk and hits a chokeslam. Heyman drags him to the ropes, but Kane smiles and sets for the Tombstone. The Shield's Roman Reigns pops up in the crowd, which distracts Kane long enough for Punk to slip out and hit the GTS for three.

Winner: CM Punk

-The Shield eye Punk, but assault Kane and beat him down as Bryan tries to make the save, but gets beat down as well. Ryback's music hits and he marches down as Punk dives over the barricade. The Shield beat down Ryback, but he throws them off and powerbombs Ambrose, followed by Meathooks to Reigns and Rollins. Punk with a cheap shot, but Ryback shrugs it off and preps Punk for a powerbomb before getting speared by Reigns. The Shield continue their beat down, then hit the triple-team powerbomb to lay Ryback out yet again. They and Punk have a staredown, but The Shield exit the ring and leave through the crowd as Punk stands tall over Ryback for the second straight week.

I have to admit Hero, I am impressed. Reminds me of The Joker.

I can see where you're coming from with that, he does at times in his promos as well do the whole talking quietly draw the audience in and then BANG! INTENSE MAKE POINT MOMENT! before calming down again.
Though not in a pants Cena style.

For me he's a blend of Jake Roberts and Brian Pillman. He's captivating and unpredictable. I can see a bit of Sycho Sid in his promos too.

I never doubted his talent though Hero, its always been whether the WWE utilise them properly.

The crowd really were hot for Ryback last night! The Feed me more chants before he came out at the end were deafening and probably the loudest all night. Really liking where the Shield and Ryback seem to be going as it looks like these 4 will all help each other go to another level. I wasn't convinced of Ryback being a main eventer when he first started but I must admit I'm really buying into him now, feed me more WWE! On the Shield front Roman Reigns actually impressed me the most, his look is great, the spear he delivered actually looked like a Goldberg spear not and Edge and Big Show one and his attitude in the interview of the no nonsense guy has peaked my interest in him.

Very good Raw and TLC is shaping up to be a very good PPV before the Rumble.

Major downside of this RAW was having Dolph vs Cena on tv and not PPV, I guess it may still be on PPV but won't be as special

I didn't understand why they gave away Dolph and Ziggler and the way it ended, don't understand why they booked it to end like that, I was beginning to think I could see an AJ turn on the cards for TLC but not sure why or what the point of it would be

I presume they gave it away free as it will be a special, stipulation match at TLC, and those two probably aren't going to feud again for a while after this so they dont have to worry about month after month of the same match.

I liked the shield, Reigns I find very intriguing. He didnt come across so well in the interview, but he is the more convincing as a physical threat and carries it well. I'm gonna guess we may get Bryan and Kane plus one more against them soon, maybe they'll take out someone like Orton or (maybe more midcard) and it'll be a 3v3 at TLC.

Loved Titus against Ryback, some of the best offence against him yet. I love the dynamic of the PTPs (Titus was good on commentary again on Smackdown last week) and I think Titus has potential to go far.

The shield don't need a match, they will interfere in the main event again at TLC. Hopefully they will stick to their word and beat up anyone who is going against what they believe is right, i.e. beat on Ziggler after Sheamus and Big Show have a gruelling match at TLC or even take out Cena if Ziggler's MITB is on the line as Ziggler rightfully won it

Roman Reigns has a brilliant look. It's very 'WWE' but i like the way he carries himself. I find him quite charasmatic and he has a brilliant name too.

I wonder if he's related to Luther.... Whistle

I'd like to know which miscarriage of justice Santino and Tyson Kidd commited on the tapings show that warranted a battering by The Shield?

A solid Raw. TLC is shaping up well.

The Cena/Ziggler was very good as expected. I expect them to have either a tables match or Ladder match at TLC. Should be good for Ziggler to get a decent match then maybe cash in later that night.

Really liking the shield angle. All 3 guys impressing me with there attacks and the interview with cole was good. Be interesting to see what happens next with them though. Who are they working for? Brock Lesnar and Heyman would be a good one IMO, they screw Punk and it sets up a Lesnar vs CM Punk match at mania.

What can possibly be on the line in a Dolph/Cena ladder match though? They don't need a gimmick, they've got a good storyline, no need to throw them in a gimmick so soon, for the record a gimmick match is probably Dolphs only chance of a good win

I can imagine the Shield targeting the Great Khali and Hornswoggle soon, get rid of all the trash that is in the WWE, that's why they targeted Santino. MITB on the line for Cena vs Ziggler

KF my friend this is the sport of professional sports wrestling entertainment, there doesn't need to be a plausible explanation for anything!

I'm guessing that since they gave Cena / Ziggler away on free TV that there might be a mixed tag match at TLC. If not, and we're treated to another match between Jumpin' John and Dat Damn Dolph, then you'd have to assume Ziggler's going over with a screwy finish. And really the only way there could be a screwy finish would be something involving AJ, where it turns out that GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY IT WAS A SET UP ALL ALONG! Shocked

Unless AJ's contract is on the line in a ladder match, AJ attacking Vickie so Vickie threatens her with being fired. Probably a very tedious link but you wouldnt put it beyond WWE.

Titus is on fire, hes probably in the top ten of my fave five (using Bookermatics)

What I don't get is they have have Dolph on a big roll, wins the Survivor Series then beats Orton 123 albeit with a handful of Ortons breifs but still went over Orton, then he injures Cena only for Cena to then beat him, what was the point writing an injury into the storyline? Having an injured Cena beat Dolph comprehensively doesn't do anyone any good, just makes it look like Cena needs to be injured if he's not gonna win the match in 10 seconds

Dolph has to put his briefcase on the line in a ladder match?

Thought he came across very impressively - I was a bit disappointed that they didn't do something 'live' in terms of their interview with Cole. I would be interested to see how better or worse they come across on the mic with a large live crowd. Overall impressed, was pleased that there was a little taste of his ability without it being too much.

This.

But there must be a logical reason to it, and maybe creative have an idea for TLC? Hmm, let me think.....

The only other person i know of called Dolph is Dolph Lungdren, he play Ivan Drago in Rocky 4, there's a snooker player called Tony Drago who pots really quickly, Ronnie O'Sullivan also pots quickly, Ronnie from Eastenders has a sister called Roxy who liked Alfie Moon who sounds like he lived on Button Moon with Jenson Button who is also very quick but not as quick as Fernando Alonso, Christopher Maloney sang Fernando on the X Factor at the weekend, Maloney sounds like Baloney, Holy Fudge and Baloney is something John Cena used to say, Cena is fueding with Dolph, but not Dolph Lungdren who also reminds me of Sam Jones from Flash Gordon who had a role in the movie Ted. TED! BAH GAWD ITS TED!

Ted on a pole match at TLC between Ziggler and Cena.

Damn. How did i not think of that.

All this time it was staring us right in the face! Fair play to WWE, it's logical, plausible and downright foolproof booking.

And if that doesnt pull in 1 million buys then nothing will.

Personally i think they should just have a sh@g off. Cena pumps AJ and Dolph pumps Vickie and whoever releases the custard first wins.

Simples.

I reckon they'll do a double turn in this one, midway through Cena starts pumping Vickie and Dolph starts pumping AJ.

It'll be like the Bret Hart / Steve Austin double turn at Wrestlemania 13 except with more blood.

Laugh Cena gives 5 moves of doom to AJ and Vickie, makes them bleed but gets them both pregnant, they give birth to mini Jumpin John Cena's and they become WWE Champions at 6 months old.

The internet hangs themselves simultaneously.

Laugh

I'd also like to see what kind of ridiculous bump Dolph Ziggler takes once he's dropped his load. I'm guessing there would be at least 3 flips.
