We open in Atlanta, where the Falcons can clinch the NFC South this week providing they win and Tampa falls to Denver. Standing in their way is their most hated rivals and the team that handed them their only loss this season, the New Orleans Saints, who likely need to win out to make the postseason.

Redskins just edge the Giants to open up the NFC East. The best underdog in the league isn't very good at playing the favorite.

Take that John Mara and the rest of your stinky Giants!! You just got RG3'd!!!! (And Alfred Morris'd - I thought he was immense last night - AGAIN!)

Be interesting to see what rules Mara tries to invent to limit the impact of RG3 cos you can bet your bottom dollar that he's bricking it this morning. Maybe something about players who went to Baylor and who have hair braids not being allowed to play in the NFL?? Let's face it, that wouldn't be anymore ridiculous than the thing he invented about the "spirit of the salary cap".

Ah come on GSC, regardless of whether or not you think the Redskins and Cowboys did wrong by doing what they did, you simply can't allow a situation whereby the league starts inventing rules to punish people with for doing something that was not against any rule at the time of the supposed "crime". That's abuse of power and it's wrong. The grown up thing to have done would have been to suck it up, curse yourself for not having closed the loophole before anyone had a chance to take advantage of it and promise yourself you'd be a bit smarter in the future. The childish thing to do is gather together a few of your pals and make up some petty rules and then bully the outsiders into submission. Unfortunately, Mara and his cronies, including the Commissioner, chose the school playground route to resolve this one....

Was a poor week for the teams that I decided to bet on. Did an 8 game accumulator of Bears, Packers, Patriots, Texans, Lions, 49ers, Bengals, Giants £1 would have turned into £20, was really confident about it then half of them lost...
