Pretty tight between these two so far this morning with cena just edging it, how would you compare their respected 12 months

Hate Cena and love Bully, easy one for me this morning.

Bully has got to the point this year where people have been saying he'd improve the WWE product if he came back.

Cena has got to the point this year where people have been saying he'd improve the WWE product if he went away.

No contest.

I sometimes feel I'm very happily critical of Cena, yet give him no credit when he does anything good. Sometimes it's his fault that he's irritating (the Cesaro nipple comment was all him) and then sometimes he's forced into feuds with the big show or John laurinaitis and I hate what Cena is in WWE, not who he is. Whilst Bully Ray had a period as an impressive heel in TNA there is no way his work can compare to the Wrestlemania feud with The Rock or some of Cena's work with Punk.

It is a close one, and my hatred of Cena may have overridden any positives and won it for Bully until the latest incarnation of Bully Ray made his way onto TNA. The face turn has been horrendous for me, I've hated every part of and it's only getting worse as Brooke gets involved. To begin with I would blame Bully Ray, he was far too cheesy with it and unnatural, and now its becoming poor TNA storytelling. That along with the fact that Bobby Roode is the best heel in TNA, and Cena is the top face still, means it adds up to a Cena vote for me.

Why do you think that?

Bully Ray has had his best ever year as a singles competitor, one of the best mic workers in the business whilst the best thing about Cena this year was that he didn't hold the title at any point.

Nonsense, he was clearly a credible threat in terms of Kayfabe and looking through it as realistic fans with knowledge of the way WWE operates. Bully Ray never will and never could be involved in something so big.

Actually, at times I thought Cena outdid him, whilst I'm pretty sure Cena isn't the first person who has been protected in promos by the company.

Punk's heel turn? Nowhere near as interesting without having Cena to make an impact off.

I'm not a Cena fan, but looking at it with a bit of subjectivity there are reasons to vote Cena

I'm sorry but that is totally not true is it? I hate this idea that WWE forced The Rock to go easy on Cena, it's a totally subjective thing, who wins the promo battles is not an objective decision and I have seen plenty of people say The Rock was better and that Cena was better, I think it's only people's memories of The Rock making them think that he was somehow holding back.

I also think it's ridiculous to think that the WWE would try and protect Cena by having Rock "go easy on him" in the subjective promo battles, only to allow him to lose clean to The Rock in the main event of Wrestlemania...doesn't make sense really.

And of course they made Cena out to look like a credible threat, what's the point of a feud that doesn't?

Sometimes the bitterness towards Cena, and the love for The Rock on this board is ridiculous.
