Ideas for next season

I'm open to everyone elses view on that Steve, but my initial thought on it is that it just means those with the stronger academy set ups in real life remain stronger in academy terms in the game (short term), so I would be against it as it doesn't help achieve what we are trying to achieve by changing the academy rules.

so is it that our senior academy is protected by junior one not? I'm a bit confused by this new rule

There is no senior and junior academy from next season prop. Just your academy of 20. All new players coming through any clubs youth set ups will have to be bid on.

Ok cool so I basically have 20 players protected in my academy then.

Depends what you mean by protected. No players coming through London Irish will automatically be yours from next season. Those that are there now, you will need to have in your 'senior' academy by 31st May or you lose them.
