had a samsung galaxy and tablet but just got the new nokia lumia phone

OK... is it better than the new Galaxy 5? That Surface device looks good too... or is a tablet easier to use... do you carry it around out of the house?

I got the Lumia really for the camera 40 megapixel its very good . The tablet is suppose to be ' Mine ' but i very rarely get to use it as the wife takes it with her or the kids have it

Oh, so you did eventually get it back from her sister?

A long walk will do you good. Concentrate on breathing and rhythm... I was doing that this evening walking back from dinner at the local. Balmy afternoon after torrential rain this morning. The crew arrives at 7:30am tomorrow to do the trees.... sad in a way but they have to go.

It's been cold but sunny here today. Would have loved to be able to go for a long walk and take some photos but work got in the way   And you can guarantee that when I'm off tomorrow the weather will be pants!

Weather here is awful , that fine wet rain

This weekend was not so hot 20-22 deg C max (that's cool for late Nov/early Dec) but it will get up to the mid 30s by Wednesday.

I know what you mean though... sometimes hard to get motivated and get into the swing of things this time of year.
Friday was a really good day for me - the cricket, great night out in Chinatown with brother and some old buddies... and I got approval for the project in Randwick. I'm quite thrilled with that but there's lots of work to do now (and over Xmas) and I feel a bit exhausted at the minute.

Don't over do things , make time to relax a little . You should be loving the cricket though , i had 2 bets before the start Aus 3-0 and Aus 3-1 £10 on both so even if England do lose i could still win  

Good call.  I went 2-2 on one of the cricket threads but feel like revising it now.
Yes, I'm loving it. Mitch was unplayable on Day 3.

I was looking forward to the series but after watching the warm up game i just thought England didn't have the pace on these wickets to rattle you

Yeah, I can't understand why they don't play your tall blokes... and the other guy (name escapes) Rankin?... who I haven't seen much of but i hear he is quite quick.

There are a couple of young lads that aren't in the touring team but are there to get some experience ( names evade me right now) but they are both really quick in the 90's , they aren't ready but thats what you get for not having enough time between series

Yeah, it did come around quickly this series. Only 88 days or something? England just look off the pace and a little jaded but who knows.... they might surprise again in Perth. (Think they will do better in Melb & Syd)

it seems that it was all about cashing in on the last series , every 2 years is about right build up the rivalry and give both teams the chance to change things around ( something England haven't done imo i think this side has nearly runs its course ) you need to freshen things up even if it's doing what you did and leaving Johnston out for a few tests and then bringing him back raring to go

Yes, that was a good move. They had him warmed up nicely in the ODI series in India... then pulled him back to Oz for his final prep.

You guys need to dig out Blackadder's Christmas Carol DVD one more time and pause the bit where they slam the door in QV and Bertie's face again.  (and the bit where they turn away the fat kid too!)

When do you go to the In-laws, Xmas Eve or Xmas Day?

Christmas Day before lunch , drank far to much over the weekend 2 dayer with 14 mates we caused a few problems from what i am told ( I don't really remember much )

I don't have any in-laws to go to. I'm single, cold and lonely this Christmas.

Regarding doing something I like..

Funnily enough I spent the whole of yesterday converting 20+ old songs I'd written from 10 years ago from tape to CD and MP3. Getting back into my songwriting next year and hearing some of them has really given me the taste for it again.

There were 12 cases of 24 bottles on the coach there and they all went before we got to Leeds , no idea how much we drank the rest of saturday the b&b landlady was good as gold though made us a lovelly breakfast on sunday before we started all over again
