What if Mosley beats Manny?

What would this do to the boxing world? Would Mayweather return to p4p no 1? even with his inactivity (just seen on bbc that his hearing is delayed again) would Manny retire? Would Sergio Martinez move to No 1 (I think he should if this happens)

I don't like that Manny has took this fight, it is nothing to gain all to lose. Beating some one who was made to look silly by Floyd will do nothing unless he knocks him out early. Which I doubt as Manny doesn't have one punch knock out power (mostly TKO's) Mayweather could of knocked out Mosley in the later rounds but he seemed to take pity on him.

This board would have one less member if that happened.

If he loses than i suspect either a rematch with floyd or the more likely situation is he rematches manny. It would be a huge huge blow for manny as it's well documented that he isn't taking mosely lightly so he can't use that excuse. I would think that martinez or donaire become p4p #1 as Floyd would be inactive for over a year also. It would give mosely his biggest payday whoever he fights and it probably means that Floyd would be considered the greatest of this generation unless manny comes back an beats Sergio martinez which is very unlikely.

Mosley likely becomes a P4P top 10,Manny possibly retires and Martinez gets moven up to P4P number 1.A certain fighter will also come out of retirement IMO.

Can't see it happening although I'll be hoping it does I like Manny but Mosley was one of my favourite during my teenage years when I started really getting interested in the sport.
If it did their is no doubt a rematch clause will be in the contract and Mannys camp would have an excuse like most boxers do. He may choose to retire and solely focus on his political career although I find it unlikely.

Manny would have to have a rematch, his place in the ATG stakes takes a hit of about 20 places or so. Floyd becomes the best fighter of the last 10 years.

He aint getting sent down anyway, lets be honest, because of who he is, if it was me, you or another normal guy we would be jailed. If Manny loses he will be on the scrapheap, but he'll win on points
