Is this Federers last year on tour?

Judging by last few weeks 'can't be a**ed' performances, you'd have to say it is.

I know it's reported he's been having bad back issues, but I never use this as excuses like other tedious fans do!

He has already reduced his schedule.

JM.. does he have to look forward to this?

I think he probably is done after this year at most he will play maybe will play a reduced schedule next year but I can't see him sticking around for too much longer, I think it will be more mental fatigue and lack of hunger than physical deterioration that will be his undoing.

You just never know..if he fails to win a slam or even a masters this year he will have to start to think about retirement.

Worth bearing in mind it can be tempting to be a bit short term attitude. WHo knows things might change and he might be holiding aloft a slam trophy later this year and talking about Rio again. Seems a bit unlikely right now, but things do change?

AFAIK, he wil play Rio 2016, whether he stays on tour or not. There may be some ATP requirements that need to be met (like the Hingis/Federer doubles idea).
