RIP Maggie Thatcher. A great woman, regardless people's opinions on her decisions, she is truly a great woman.

I'm too young to know much about Thatcher and what she stood for. I can respect her as a woman in a male dominated era still, a frighteningly strong woman.

But I've never seen such a divisive figure. No one sits on the fence with her - they love her or they hate her.

I'm getting more appreciably away from the right wing than I ever have been so I doubt I would vote for her personally.

Indeed GSC, a lot of people have no respect these days, and this is part of what Thatcher was trying to stop. The Unions treated the country with disdain (unless you were on their side), Argentina treated us with contempt, and people left, right and centre lobbied against her. She was trying to preserve our country and what it stood for, and despite her valiant efforts, she failed. Everyone was miserable in the 80s, I fail to see why miners etc feel like they have the monopoly on 'hard times'.

Otherwise we'll have to get another willing volunteer.

I am going to go with Poulter as top finishing Englishman at 9/2 and also for a top 10 finish at 3/1

I'm trying to see where else there is value. It's evens that a first time major winner takes it. Maybe that.

His goal on the weekend was sensational, a fallaway volley from the edge of the box. Truly supreme. If Ronaldo does that then people jizz all over his face.

That was graphic. Sorry.

It wasn't great from United, just never controlled the ball and City were able to settle in. Carrick was very good again though.

Results done, will follow in a mo.

Morning Zebs, I'm terrible thank you. How was your boozy weekend?
Was quality thanks. Some real funny moments.
For the grand national as there was 13 of us we all picked random horse, stuck £1 on it then chucked them in a hat & pulled one each out. One of the stags had the 66/1 winner so that was quite fitting.
Quad Bikes were quality, great fun. Most of us were still drunk that morning too & I was in the group which went on them first too.

Sadly I didnt see Cherries around Sad

Carrick was the usual get his job done good. Felt Jones played well too.
Overall we didnt control the game & it cost us.
As Hero says, we haven't been at our best all season, seems like we haven't got out of 2nd gear.

I didn't stick any money on the horses, I really don't know enough about it to wager my cash, even in the National.

I've spent £20 in golf bets ahead of the Masters though. If Ian Poulter finishes top 5 I am sitting pretty.

To some extent the National is anyone's race really Soddy, I mean look at the winner, 66/1.
So many horses, so many jumps, anyone can get taken out at any time.

I dont know enough about Golf to bet on the masters.

Maybe his form is finally carrying over.

Luckily no-one has RVP...

If he doesn't score against Stoke, RVP would equal Fernando Torres' 14 games without a goal for Chelsea. But for Man U, of course.

Stoke are in terrible form so it would be an ideal match for him too, yet I though Sunderland was the one he would.
At least hes still making some impact, deflection off Bramble, whipping in the free kick last night.
Im not too fussed about him having this bad patch. Hes helped get us into this position & we have others who can score.

RVP would equal Fernando Torres' 14 games without a goal
Shocked Thats amazing consider the difference in player. Really hope he scores now.
