1999 i was begging on my knees and screaming at neil jenkins to hit that conversion to beat England at the end.

No game will ever be so big for me I think.

1993 wasnt far behind because it was so crazy. England had the ball and all Wales did was tackle, wave after wave of English attacks and the Welsh defense tackled everything.

Both amazing games.

Have there really been so few Welsh victories? I realised England had dominated, but wow! when you put it like that...

Actually it's 56 wins each, and 12 draws!

Secondly both teams have dished out some real beatings to each other, if you consider that it was only 3 points for a try in the 60's and early 70's then the 34 points we scored against you in 1967 becomes 44 points.

We'd of beaten you 34-0 in 1907, using today's scores, while Ireland would of been beaten 38-0, in the same tournament.

The 30-9 to win we had over you in 1969 would translate into 40-9 by today's standards.

Also the 22-6 win in 1971 becomes 28 points to Wales by today's standards.

In 1973 they changed the points so it became 4 points for a try instead of 3 but Wales still won 25-9 which becomes 30 for Wales.

Though the most fun one we have had was Wales first ever game in 1880, which in modern scores translates to 82-0 to England!

Although by 1905 we'd beaten you by the equivilent of 39-0.

The only REALLY bad period for Wales was 1990 till 2004, where we only managed to beat you twice in 1993 and 1999, inside the space of 14 years. And those wins were nothing short of flukey.

England are not Wales old enemy... we are Scotlands auld enemy. Don't steal their thing.

You may see England as your main rival but actually most England fans see France & Australia as our main rivals and the teams we most like to beat.

Likewise a small majority of English fans still have the mantra as long as we keep believing Wales want nothing more than to beat the English we will keep coughing up the 6 Nations.
